Manhood thru Discipleship/Apprenticeship

Not wanting to ever submit to another man is not a sign of strength. It’s a sign of mental weakness, woundedness, and fatherlessness.

We should be able to submit to one another in the fear of God. Why? Because everyone has a gift from God that should be feared:
Ephesians 5:21 Submitting yourselves one to another IN THE FEAR OF GOD.

You should be able to follow someone as they follow Christ:
1 Corinthians 11:1-2
[1]Be ye FOLLOWERS OF ME, even as I also am of Christ.
[2]Now I praise you, brethren, that ye REMEMBER ME IN ALL THINGS, and keep the ordinances, AS I DELIVERED THEM to you.

Anyone who is younger should be able to submit (come under the mission) of the older person. No matter the age, or the position, we should all look for opportunities to serve one another:
1 Peter 5:5
Likewise, ye YOUNGER, SUBMIT YOURSELVES UNTO THE ELDERS. Yea, all of you BE SUBJECT ONE TO ANOTHER, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

DISCIPLESHIP AKA APPRENTICESHIP IS THE WAY OF THE KINGDOM!

The reason why submission and servanthood is so important in the Kingdom is because the BEST and most COMPLETE WAY to learn anything is through guided experience and training, aka apprenticeship.

Jesus’s Disciples were Submitted, Disciplined and Trained in the life skills of Jesus like an Apprentice. Discipleship is Apprenticeship!

Honoring, following, serving and submitting to a physical person in their area of expertise, experience, and authority is basic common sense to someone who had a father in the home OR to someone who has been healed from fatherlessness and has a healthy attitude towards authority.

There is a fatherless generation that thinks they can learn everything from a channel or a screen. They heap up absent teachers because they don’t want to submit to the actual discipline of apprenticeship: real life, sound doctrine, based on action (2 Timothy 4:3-6).

Everything significant that I have achieved in life came not from a book or a screen, but directly from actionable training from someone else.

I do get knowledge from books and videos – those things help – but the biggest RESULTS I see in business skills, technical skills, sport skills, and kingdom ministry come from DIRECT training from another man!

Permanent Humility and a Lifestyle of Discipleship/Apprenticeship doesn’t make you less of a man – it makes you MORE of a man!

BE a MAN about Kingdom DOCTRINE!

Shout out to the men of God that ACT LIKE MEN :: It’s time OUT for us as MEN of God to be EMOTIONAL and EFFEMINATE concerning KINGDOM DOCTRINE.

our feelings
our family
our dreams
our money
our fatherlessness
our porn/lust addiction
our culture/country
our ethnicity
our wife
our friends
our woundedness
our youtube/facebook/hiphop addictions
our demons
our inadequacy
our job/business
our denomination/seminary degree
our ministry

None of these things should change our logical focus on enduring and obeying Sound Doctrine!

Actually – our focus on enduring and applying Sound Kingdom Doctrine should be changing all of these other things.

Sound Doctrine is not about winning intellectual battles or emotional arguments and debates.

Sound doctrine directly influences character and actions – the entire soul! Be a Doer of the Word!

Let’s be Men about Doctrine!

1 Corinthians 14:20 Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but IN UNDERSTANDING BE MEN.

1 Corinthians 16:13 Be Watchful, Stand Firm in the Faith, ACT LIKE MEN, Be Strong.

Titus 2:6 YOUNG MEN likewise exhort to be SOBER MINDED.

7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in DOCTRINE shewing UNCORRUPTNESS, GRAVITY, SINCERITY,

The Feminization of the Army of God: If a good Christian is someone who can’t protect his family, can’t protect his church, can’t protect his community, can’t protect his tribe, or his ethnicity, or his nation (not even spiritually, with words instead of guns), or his friends, or those that are poor, or oppressed, or headed for destruction … Then maybe I’ll just go somewhere and be a biblical Christian instead.

Children Hate Correction

When do you want your discipline?

When do you want your correction?

When will you allow yourself to be humbled?

No matter how much I love my son, feed him, support him, encourage him, kiss him, hug him, play with him… when it comes time for correction, he always hates correction. Every time. As soon as I correct him he immediately forgets all the other good things I’ve done. Why? Because he’s a child.

What’s really sad is when grownups act the same way. Children always hate correction, but its a part of real love. Love is being faithful to the covenant. Emotions are up and down but Love is Steady. Mature people realize that love is not only emotion, but faithfulness.

Proverbs 12:1
Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, But he who hates reproof is stupid.

Proverbs 27:6
Faithful are the wounds of a friend, But deceitful are the kisses of an enemy.

i don’t allow a woman to teach in the authority of a man

Eve was deceived because she wasn’t created to protect. Adam was disobedient because he refused to protect. #itsbible

1 Timothy 2

12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

Part of a mans role is to protect. Spiritually, part of the role of an overseer in authority and teacher in the church is to protect spiritually. This is why an overseer with a teaching role in authority over a church must be a man. 

Women are anointed and powerful, but are created for a different role. It’s understandable when a woman fails at protecting, because she is the weaker vessel. She’s not created to give the harsh discipline that is sometimes necessary when dealing with the influence of the serpent. You can even see an example of this in home life. Often a mother will chafe at giving a boy the necessary discipline they need until it’s too late. They want everything to be about love and compassion and softness because they are led by emotion. Then when things go bad, they discipline with emotion instead of with clear wisdom. However a father has an innate wisdom to discipline and protect even when it may seem harsh to the mother… But when they do it, it pays off in time.

Unfortunately, many men are physically masculine, and socially masculine, but spiritually they are effeminate. They disobey and they abdicate their role to protect… Just like Adam did. They follow their deceived women into disobedience. They see the snake speaking to the Body of Christ, they see generations being spiritually deceived, but they continue to allow the serpent to speak to the church, the Bride of Christ. 

Today God is calling men who will rise to their SPIRITUAL calling to come back to the Church. We know you’ve got big muscles. We know you’re cool and you can create wealth. But will you stand up and shut the mouth of the serpent with spiritual authority? Or nah?

2. Praying in the Holy Ghost and Speaking the Word of God
3. Loving your Wife
4. Raising Godly Children
5. Providing for your Family and Working with your Hands
6. Preaching Jesus and telling your Testimony
7. Building up the Church
8. Destroying Satans lies
9. Exposing False prophets, false apostles, and false teachers
10. Ministering to the poor and fatherless and widow
11. Being Creative and having Fun with your Talents
12. Walking in Obedience, Joy, Peace, and Love!

14 And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: 15 and I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Spiritual Retardation Among MEN

Men of God:

Our Father in Heaven has called us to build our lives and our houses on the solid Rock of His Word – and then when the wind and rain and storms come , we can take it and still stand.

He did not tell us to try and build a glass bubble around our house and field so that we never feel a raindrop or any windstorms. If you wait until you get your glass bubble up you will end up with nothing.

Spiritual Retardation is an abnormal delay of progress in development of your obedience to God’s Word.

Don’t be a spiritual retard concerning your purpose, or your work, or your ministry, or your wife, or your children. Find Gods written logos Word on it, Seek Him for a direct rhema Word on it, then JUST DO IT!

Seek God for your purpose – do it.
Seek God for your family – run it.

Matthew 7
