What is A Righteous Mans Reward?

Righteous Mans Reward

Do you know that the reward of a righteous man is greater, more powerful, and quicker than the reward of a prophet?

We know how to receive a prophet but do we know how to receive a righteous man?

Matthew 10:41
He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.

Prophets – speakers
Righteous/Wise Men – doers

A prophets reward is the result of obeying their message.
A righteous mans reward is the result of following their actions.

You can receive Jesus as a Prophet and get a benefit (Ghandi), but if you don’t see Him as Righteous King and Lord you don’t receive His righteousness.

When you receive someone who comes from the Lord, you are receiving the Lord.

Everyone is equal in the Lord, those that are sent, and those that receive who’s sent. We all get the same reward. We are all on the same team.

Matthew 10:40-42
“He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me. He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward. And whoever in the name of a disciple gives to one of these little ones even a cup of cold water to drink, truly I say to you, he shall not lose his reward.” (Matthew 10:40-42)

When we begin to value being and following doers of the Word just as much as we love to hear and follow the speakers of the Word, the fullness of righteousness will return to the Body of Christ… And God will be able to move quickly, powerfully and effectively.

2 Chronicles 16
9 For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him

2 Chronicles 7
14 if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
