Elijah was a fasting man, sustained by a widow woman.

God uses people that can say no to the pleasures of earth to release the glory of heaven into the earth.

1 Timothy 5:6 But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.

Hebrews 11:25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.

Did you know that Jerry Springer had two children by adultery with a Hebrew woman, and was so ashamed of abandoning them that he left his whole fortune to them in his will, and cut his wife out of it.

He told his legitimate daughters to make their money while he was alive, so he could give ALL of his liquid fortune to his biracial children. He wanted to give them reparations for not being a father to them. Repentance and Reparations are a VERY good thing to do. But…

King David sinned, and humbled himself, and repented with a soft heart, and gave up control of the consequences to God, and became a man after YAH’S own heart.
