WHAT IF MY MARRIAGE WASN’T ORDAINED BY GOD??? #TOLD
A: My cousin is arguing me that if God didn’t put together the marriage it’s invalid! it’s not ordained. is this true?
Q: Herod wasn’t a Jew or a Believer yet John the Baptist preached to Herod that his marriage was UNLAWFUL (Matthew 14:4).
Marriage Covenant is a Creation ordinance… all cultures and every man who is made in God’s image is required to honor the covenant of his mouth. “Thou art snared by the words of thy mouth” (Proverbs 6:2).
God holds men accountable the covenants of their mouths all throughout Scripture! Why, because men are made in the image OF GOD, and we are required to keep our vows.
Ecclesiastes 5:4 When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.
5 Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay.
6 Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands?
