Q: What does it mean that the kingdom of God suffers violence? (Matthew 11:12)

A: It means you have to press into the kingdom of God using spiritual violence: fasting, praying, preaching repentance and challenging lies. That’s why He gave John the Baptist as an example.

IS JEHOVAH A GOD OF DESTRUCTION?

Q: I heard a person that was arguing that Jehovah means god of destruction. They said that the Strong’s Concordance definition for Hovah is destruction. Does that mean when we use that name, we are speaking to/about a different god than TMH?

A: I’m not sure where Jehovah came from. It might be a mistranslation, a misspelling, or just a different language. I’m not big on worrying about spellings and language differences, as long as meaning is communicated.

However in the Scriptures I see that YAH destroyed Sodom, He destroyed the whole earth with the flood in Noah’s day, and He will also destroy the earth with Fire to prepare for the new heaven and earth.

Psalm 47:2 For the Lord most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.

His Name stands for His Authority and His Character and who He is and what He’s done. He is the Most High. As long as you know who you are talking about everybody else will too.

Since a pastor has misquoted my facebook post and is preaching lies about the Scriptures, let me clarify what Jesus said:

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the WILL OF MY FATHER which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not PROPHESIED in thy name? and in thy name have CAST OUT DEVILS? and in thy name done many WONDERFUL WORKS?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that WORK INIQUITY.

– they were anointed (casting out devils, prophesying, etc) but Jesus called them workers of iniquity. This means they were “anointed workers of iniquity” that had to depart from Jesus’ presence

– because they did not do the will (testimony) of His Father which is the 10 Commandments:
Exodus 31:18 And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, TWO TABLES OF TESTIMONY, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.

– these 10 Commandments are still in the Ark in Heaven right now:
Revelation 11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his TESTAMENT [WILL,TESTIMONY]: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

– one of these 10 Commandments in God’s Will aka Testimony aka Testament is to not commit adultery

– Jesus revealed that adultery = divorce and remarriage:
Mark 10:11 And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.
12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

You can hate me but I still love you and I speak the truth in love.

Don’t hate yourself, love yourself enough to repent because God loves you and He’s giving you another chance to repent today.

Move forward in obedience because GRACE is the power to obey God!

WERE JEWS ADULTERERS FOR REMARRYING?

Q: In light of the Sermon on the Mount, do you think that Jews/Hebrews who got divorces according to the law in the Old Testament and remarried were actually still adulterers, even if they follow the Law at the time? That’s a question I ponder sometimes.

A: Great question… I assume His law went into effect when He showed up.

The original message of both John the Baptist and Jesus Christ: “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is AT HAND!”

There was a new kingdom AT HAND.

I know Jesus is greater than Moses. That may be why John the Baptist preached against remarriage to Herod, who wasn’t even saved or a Jew. Jesus is the King of all Creation Law.

If you look at the story of the adulterer, it seems that Jesus is confronting the Pharisees with their own adultery. What was he writing on the ground? Perhaps he was reminding them of their own forefather Judah who in Genesis 38 tried to condemn a woman for adultery – the same one that he had committed adultery with!

Based on the historical iniquity of Judah, and the questions the Pharisees were asking – I would guess that they were twisting the old testament law to justify their divorces.

Deuteronomy 24 was talking about divorcing your wife for “uncleanness”

Uncleanness:
nakedness, nudity, shame, pudenda
a. pudenda (implying shameful exposure)
b. nakedness of a thing, indecency, improper behaviour
c. exposed, undefended (fig.)

However the Pharisees wanted to justify divorce for “any cause”
Matthew 19:3 The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?

So that means their hearts were so hard they were even twisting the Mosaic laws that were written to help them with their hardness of heart!

Scripture says that adulterers will not inherit the kingdom of God. As far as judgment and who ends up in heaven or hell, I’ll leave that to God. People have every new morning to repent. They could stop sinning any day.

But the Chief Apostle of the New Covenant is Christ. He magnified the law and made it honorable. He abolished the Mosaic ordinances that separated Jew from Gentile, and He revealed the original intents of the Law of God.

He revealed that from Creation and into the New Covenant, Divorce and Remarriage = Adultery.

That’s why the New covenant does not make provision for hard hearts… we are supposed to have new hearts from God!

Separated or Divorced Believers are to remain unmarried and Serve the Lord with Gladness, turning the world upside down and manifesting the prophetic Scriptures with their prayers and their preaching.

The biblical examples of how unmarried Believers are to focus on God are:
– Anna the prophetess who fasted and prayed day & night in the temple (Luke 2). She helped manifest the first coming of the Messiah with her faithfulness.
– Paul the apostle who traveled with his teams and preached the gospel (Acts 13-28). He initiated the Gentile Congregations all throughout Asia Minor and influenced the gospel in Europe.

Q: How does idolatry work the for names of other gods? If you don’t know the name you’re using is a false God, are you still responsible?

A: 1 Cor 10:27 If any of them that believe not bid you to a feast, and ye be disposed to go; whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no question for conscience sake. 28 But if any man say unto you, this is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof:

A false god is nothing, but if something has been dedicated to a false god then we are not to partake. We can’t have the Lord and idols.

As followers of Christ we have to be responsible to lead people to Him and away from idols even when it comes to natural things such as feasts (holidays), fellowships, music, etc…

CAN I STILL SAY JESUS?

Q: What do you think about not using the name Jesus that you were saved under? After you have the knowledge, are you responsible for that? I’m asking because sometimes I feel guilty about using Jesus like in corporate prayer.

A: I still use the name Jesus just as much as Yahusha or Yashua. When He was being crucified, “King of the Jews” was written on the tree in Greek, Latin, and Hebrew (Luke 23:38).

The whole point of the mission of Messiah is to both bring HIS Kingdom and HIS Salvation to gentiles and to unite Jews with the other scattered tribes and with Gentile nations.

Part of that is being able to use other languages. That’s why the first thing God did with the Congregation was bring the Holy Ghost gifts and allow them to praise God in different languages. A lot of Jews are offended with the mission and the New Covenant Order of Jesus just like we were 2000 years ago. That’s why we killed Him and persecuted His Apostles!

We have to remember it’s not our kingdom, because He is the King of it!

I have no problem with the gospel of the kingdom and the names of our Father or Savior going into other languages.

The fact that we were saved from our sin by believing in His name even if we didn’t pronounce it in the Paleo Hebrew should let us know that His Name really stands for His Authority, Character, and WHAT HE DID!

If we believe in and obey HIM, that’s what’s important. It’s good to have more knowledge of the pronunciation of Hebrew… but let’s use knowledge to build people up, not puff our heads up (1 Corinthians 8:1).

LOST TRIBES IN CHRIST?

Q: Some of you have been posting about being of the Lost Tribe of Israel, and this concerns me. If you are a Believer in Jesus, you cannot be a part of the “Lost tribe of Israel,” because you’re not lost. MY POINT brothers and sisters, since there is absolutely nothing to be gained spiritually from trying to put on a Hebrew identity, let us lose the identity of being lost people and focus on sharing and boasting in the identity we have now that Christ has found us.

A: I agree with your heart. Your purpose is on point but you are missing a lot of Scripture and research. The bible doesn’t call them the Lost tribes, it calls them the Scattered tribes of Israel.

So your foundational point of “you can’t be lost because you are in Christ” is a great point, but its not material to this particular Biblical doctrine.

Yes, we put Christ first. Yes, it’s true that we are not “Lost” if we have been found in Christ. However the Scattering of the diaspora is a real thing, as well as the blindness and the current Awakening.

The Gospel is not the only thing in the Bible. Understanding the complete Scriptures, sound doctrine, the Commandments of God, the Glory of God, and Prophetic Scriptures are also very important – especially as we come closer and closer to the return of Jesus.

There are several prophecies about the diaspora being awakened in the last days, and returning to Christ. That doesn’t mean we have to change our religion or our names or find our DNA or anything, but it does mean that the Scriptures will most definitely come to pass regardless of our opinion of them.

No I don’t boast in being a Scattered Israelite, my only boast is in Christ. But it’s good to know the backstory, especially since it was foretold and written in black & white in the Scriptures.

It’s the last days and many things that were hidden are being revealed. Many Scriptures that were sealed are being UnSealed… and that’s a blessing!

Daniel 12: 4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
