Never be afraid to burn your bridges to the work of iniquity, the harm of sin, and vain useless pursuits.

Jesus called the Pharisees hypocrites because they were covetous actors, and He called those sinners that repented and followed holiness His disciples and friends.
Today we call the people that desire repentance and holiness Pharisees and “too holy”, but we call the covetous actors and hypocrites heroes and leaders.
My how things have changed. The Church in Acts turned the world upside down (Acts 17:6), but now the world has turned the Church upside down.

Jesus wanted His Disciples and messengers to know the blessings AND the consequences for the cities that He sent them to.
This way, they would be able to go with confidence and care for the people they encountered, knowing that their message would bring results whether it was received or not.
They were instructed to vocalize the blessing of the kingdom of God and they were instructed to vocalize the warning of the kingdom of God.
Luke 10:
8 And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you: 9 and heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
10 But into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say, 11 Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you. 12 But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.

Great Peace Comes with a Love for the Word of God
Psalm 119:165
Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.
When you Love God’s word, you have a great peace, and nothing can offend you. This means that nothing can cause you stumble or stray away from God’s path of obedience to His Word.
Why?
– Because you love God’s word more than you love money.
– Because you love God’s word more than you love power.
– Because you love God’s word more than you love praise from men.
– Because you love God’s word more than you love pride.
– Also, when you love God’s word you can see lies, sin and iniquity much more clearly, and avoid them.
When you love God’s word you will have great peace and you will never be offended – even in the midst of temptations, lies, distractions, and tribulations – because your focus is on something totally different than those things that the enemy throws your way. Your focus is on your love for the word of God that you love.
When you stay on the path of peace and obedience, you can expect great rewards from God.

Disobedient people miss out on so much being scared, and they’ll never even know it because there are certain things that God only reveals to the obedient.
Psalms 25
14 The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

If Church Leadership today was modeled after old testament authority structures where one king or priest had to die before new leadership was established, then today God would have to kill a lot of pastors. But God is wise and He has mercy.
So instead of that, he decided to grow Church leadership in His Kingdom on this thing called “Discipleship” instead of throne building.
Instead of killing corrupt leaders to create new leaders, He decided to base Kingdom leadership on this person called “Holy Spirit” instead of bloodlines and org charts.
Are you discipling or throne building?
Are you following the Holy Spirit or an org chart?

The Voice that Cries in the Wilderness is the Key to your transition out of the wilderness. Not even Jesus took a shortcut.
*[[Mat 3:13-15]] KJV* Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
