Voodoo and Ku Klux Christians
Do you know how many voodoo practitioners also love Jesus “too?”
Do you know how many Ku Klux Klansmen are faithful in their church and claim Jesus “too?”
It’s called “SYNCRETISM” folks! And it’s the opposite of True Worship.
Whenever you try to “add Jesus” to a list of other false idols and cultural demonic strongholds you are not worshipping Jesus Christ at all.
Jesus did not die on the cross and resurrect from the dead so He could be the last option on your iPod, or be added to your list of authentic hip hop alternatives. He’s not interested in syncretizing with you Greek Idol or Masonic covenants either. If you can’t get rid of the false you are not in the Truth. He is the King of All.
John 4
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

CRETANS ARE ALWAYS LIARS
Its interesting that the word syncretism came from the root word meaning: “a union of Cretans”
Look what the Apostle Paul in Titus said about the Cretans (Crete was an actual city in Greece; Paul discerned and addressed this spiritual root in that city hundreds of years before the word “syncretism” was even coined):
Titus 1
11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre’s sake.
12 One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, the Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.
13 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;
14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.
15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
Cretans and “Syncretizers” of today hate purity, they would rather defile everything by mixing false worship, cultural idolatry, fables, and the commandments of men with it. They profess that they know God, but in works they deny Him.
