Your REQUIREMENT of Responsibility, Sorrow, and Repentance

Responsibility in a Monarchy

In a monarchy, real people suffer or benefit from the actions of a king – but they are not responsible, because they are not the king, nor did they choose the king.

Responsibility in a Republic or Democracy

In a Republic, or a Democracy, people not only suffer or benefit from the actions of their elected leaders, but they are also responsible. Why are the citizens responsible? Because they vote, and  they give their authority to the actions of their government.

Yes, people are responsible before God for what they vote for and who they vote for. Why, because through voting, they are a partaker in the actions of their government.

Yes, part of Gods eternal judgment for you – if you live in a nation where you get to vote, is how you use your authority to run your country.

Does God care about the Affairs of Nations?

In this scripture God had replaced Saul as the King of Israel, but he still had punishment delivered to Israel and David because they had not atoned for the “bloody house of Saul” or the illegal murders he had committed.

3Wherefore David said unto the Gibeonites, What shall I do for you? and wherewith shall I make the atonement, that ye may bless the inheritance of the LORD?

God’s sense of justice is a lot more accurate than ours, even in the affairs of nations.

Acts 17

26And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

God sets times and boundaries for the habitations of nations. Contrary to what American Exceptionalism teaches – the Bible teaches that God gives nations boundaries.

Acts 9:15But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel.

The Apostle Paul’s specific call was to preach to Gentiles, government authorities, and to the people of Israel. Why would God specifically anoint Paul to preach to Kings if Political and Government authorities didn’t matter to God anymore?

How You Use Your Authority Matters to God – Its for your Life –  Not just for Elections

No, You don’t get to bury your head in the sand and avoid being political. God cares about Monarchies; He cares about Republics, and Democracies. If you use your authority to vote for a certain person or for a certain cause, you are connected with that person and that cause.

So if you voted for a President who’s first act was to fund the abortion and genocide of millions of black babies, or first proclamation was to declare June gay & lesbian transgendered month, then guess what you did… You funded the abortion of millions of black babies, and you helped declare the month of June to be gay, lesbian, transgender month in America. You need the blood of Jesus to wash you from that sin. You can get forgiveness, but you have to acknowledge your sin, and ask for forgiveness.

If you voted for a guy who violated the Constitution and invaded another country on false pretenses, then guess what you did? Ditto. You had a part to play in that.  You need the blood of Jesus to cleanse you of that sin.

If you continually vote for corrupt politicians, not only will your city be ruined, but you will give an account to God for your vote. Everybody wants to clown Kwame Kilpatrick, but hey… he apologized, repented, and he’s moving on.

Have you apologized repented, and asked God for forgiveness for voting for Kwame? If you voted for him, you need to do that, because you were a partaker in his sins. The same applies for any other corrupt politician in the history of Detroit. You know that’s a pretty deep rabbit hole. If you are in it, you need to get yourself out of it, spiritually.

LAY HANDS ON NO MAN SUDDENLY, DON’T BE A PARTAKER IN OTHER MEN’S SINS, KEEP YOURSELF PURE

1 Timothy 5:22

22Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men’s sins: keep thyself pure.

When Kwame was campaigning for Mayor of Detroit, I could not support him or vote for him. Praise God for his humble soul now; I know he has repented and is very talented and probably doing good things. But back then I knew he was a talented actor and a phony leader. I saw him praying in churches acting humble, then on the radio talking about how much he loved JayZ. Yet I went to churches and saw men of God laying hands on him, prophesying over him, and calling him anointed. These types of pastors and spiritual leaders not only helped ruin the city of Detroit, but they also are all partakers of his sins. The Church is especially responsible, because Jesus already gave us all authority in heaven and in earth – but we have misused it.

Lay hands on no man suddenly, and be not a partaker in other men’s sins.

Have these pastors, leaders apologized to the city, repented, turned the other way, and asked God for forgiveness? Or do they just see their mistake as Kwame’s episode? I’m not saying you’re condemned. No condemnation! -) I know that’s our favorite half-scripture in the Bible. I’m just saying that we must acknowledge our sin to God and turn the other way.

partaker: to enter into fellowship, join one’s self to an associate, make one’s self a sharer or partner

When God showed me revelation on spiritual adultery in gospel music, I no longer play those songs or promote artists who are teaching spiritual whoredom to God’s people. When artists that I had promoted in the past changed and went into natural and spiritual adultery, I then went the other way and warned people in my sphere of influence how to make better choices.

When a preacher or spiritual leader that we have empowered falls into sin or error, we have to repent for being a partaker of their sins. Only then can we restore them in a spirit of meekness.

It’s great to restore your brethren with a spirit of meekness if they are overtaken in a fault… but what if you are a partaker in their sins because you have laid hands on them, promoted them, or voted for them?

Do you just “restore” them, as if you were innocent, or restored yourself… not realizing that you both need to repent? Are you just going to move on, thinking that you are moving forward? No you’re not moving forward. We are just going around and around in the same downward spiral.

That’s why there are the same sins, scandals, and corruptions over and over again in every generation. People don’t even think that holiness or purity is possible anymore, because we as the Body of Christ have not followed Christ’s example yet.

No, we cannot gloss over sins and just move on, “keeping it positive.” No, we need to repent first, so that you can give others a clear message to repent from! The Bible says that Godly sorrow leads to repentance. That means if there is no Godly sorrow, there is no repentance.

IF THERE IS NO GODLY SORROW, THERE IS NO REPENTANCE OR SALVATION

 

2 Corinthians 7 10For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. 11For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.

Godly sorrow is not glossing over and moving forward. In 2 Corinthians 7, God was speaking to Christians about their repentance, not sinners. Let’s look at the description of Godly Sorrow and Repentance for Christians in the New Testament:

Sorrow – grief, annoyance, sadness

Carefulness – haste, eagerness, diligence to change and do right
Clearing of yourselves – reasoned statement on how and why you act

Indignation – irritation, vexation, anger

Fear – terror, dread of what is wrong

Vehement Desire – longing, strong need for what’s right

Zeal – excitement, heat, fervor in spirit, pursuing, defending

Revenge – vengeance and punishment, not against people but against deception and principalities

Clear – pure, venerable, respectable, clean

That’s real repentance, and that’s when you have proved yourself to be clear of a matter. Imagine how different our churches, our cities, our nations would be if we didn’t just gloss over scandals, or look the other way, or just blame the person who did it. What if everyone who had partaken in the sins of a leader – by voting, laying hands on, or promoting them – actually understood that they were a partaker in his sins, and then went through the process of Godly sorrow and repentance?

I apologized to God for voting for and supporting President Bush. I didn’t know or take the time to research that after the initial conflict, he started unconstitutional wars and violated the Constitution with the Patriot Act. I will never vote for anyone remotely like him again. This is why I now support honest and consistent people like Ron Paul (who in the 3:20 mark in this video is known for not taking bribes) instead of Rick Santorum (who voted to fund Planned Parenthood) or Mitt Romney (Mitt flipping on abortion). Anyone who can comfortably flip flop and fluently talk out of both sides of their mouth – or anyone who can knowingly violate their integrity, then justify it as a win for the team is not worthy of leadership.

One of the first and foremost requirements for leaders in the OT and NT is that leaders don’t take bribes. Biblically, the leadership that we select reflects us. It is very telling to the situation in our nation that when God finally gives us a choice of a Christian, someone known for consistency, integrity, not taking bribes, and bringing back truth and accountability to government; evangelical Christians ignore him and try to decide between the Mormon and the Catholic.

This doesn’t mean that we can only vote for, support, promote, or lay hands on perfect people. It means that we need to take our authority seriously, hold people accountable, and fully repent whenever mistakes are made.

If Ron Paul doesn’t win, then at least I know that I didn’t give support to someone with no integrity. If Ron Paul is elected and then decides to break the law, or suddenly turns into the Anti-Christ, then I will hold him accountable. If he doesn’t change, I will repent, ask God for forgiveness and repent with Godly sorrow.

You are Responsible
I’m not concerned with simpleminded people that brag because they won an election, or a dispute, or a position… not realizing they just hung themselves spiritually. What are you really winning? If you won by supporting what’s wrong, you are just winning judgment on yourself! I’d rather lose temporarily and be right in heaven than win wrong now, because truth always comes out on top. God’s judgment is very REAL. It’s real right now, and it’s real in eternity. Realize that you are responsible and accountable for what you vote for, elect, lay hands on, or promote!

People that just bury their head in the sand and refuse to fight are accountable too. Is there not a cause? David came to the battlefield to fight Goliath for the kingdom of God (1 Samuel 17). Children are dying, and you want to hide?

We can’t give up on seeing the Lord’s harvest and the Righteous change that God wants to bring to the world. Part of righteousness is being a father to the poor, and searching out causes that you don’t even know yet.

Job 29 16I was a father to the poor: and the cause which I knew not I searched out. 17And I brake the jaws of the wicked, and plucked the spoil out of his teeth.

So while we are ignoring the signs of the times and the quarterly scandals that plague the Body of Christ, there is a generation being hardened and vaccinated against the truth. Just like vaccines inject people with a watered down weakened version of a virus in hopes that they become immune to the real thing – satan is doing the same thing against the truth. He’s making sure people get the hypocritical weak and watered down version of Christianity, so their soul can be immune to the real thing.

While we support leaders with no integrity and then act like we aren’t responsible – the city, the nation, and the children suffer for it.

If you vote for someone, or promote someone, or lay hands on someone – hold them accountable! You will be judged for what they do, because you will be a partaker of their sins.

Detroit Leadership Dream

For those of you that read Killing Idols For REVIVAL: A Behind the Scenes Look at 9 Enemies of God’s Harvest, you are familiar with the pattern of supernatural dreams and teachings that God used to show us how to defeat over 9 principalities and strongholds that inhibit revival and the 3rd Great Awakening in America.

We’ve got a surprise for you! I initially wrote this message out on Monday of this week. Noone saw it but me. Thursday, my wife had a dream… When she told me about it, I thought it was fitting. Come back later, and Lord willing, it will be posted right here:

I dreamed I took a bus to a fashion show with lots of people I knew from college. The fashion show was being held at a large building in Detroit. When we arrived, I and a few others went inside to get information before everyone else loaded off of the bus. When we went in the owner said the show had been cancelled. The owner was a prominent black business man in Detroit, who also claimed to be a strong Christian.

When he said the show was cancelled I commented that I was not coming to anymore events at the building because that was the second time an event I was going to attend had been cancelled. When the owner heard me say that he replied “just pray for me, I don’t even know how I am going to eat tonight”. Although the owner of the building looked and acted wealthy, he was actually very poor and was in a lot of debt with the property he owned, and did not even have enough cash to eat that night. The fashion show had been cancelled because the owner did not have the money.

The owner allowed his building to be used for Christian and secular events, whoever could pay were allowed to rent space in his building. When he said ‘just pray for me’ I took it serious and really went to lay hands on and pray for him. But before I prayed, I asked him sarcastically, “we had TheCall here and we prayed for 24 hours, did you come?” as if to say, if prayer is so important to you, why didn’t you come to TheCall. He did not answer…I laid hands on him and began to pray.

He started kissing my cheek, trying to seduce me and distract me from praying for him, but I ignored him and he stopped and I began to pray and see in the spirit. I prayed not for his finances, but that God would give him an obedient heart, and bless him to submit to God and do God’s will. As I was praying the large group I came with, came in off the bus. The room became filled with the many people off the bus and many leaders and pastors in Detroit. I stopped praying for the owner of the building and began to pray and speak over the whole room to all the leaders and pastors.

As I was praying and speaking, a lesbian couple came up and stood in front of me and started kissing. The one facing me was looking directly at me while kissing her partner. They were doing this trying to intimidate me with their homosexuality, as if I would not speak the truth for fear of offending them. The homosexual spirit in the women was familiar with the pastors, the lesbians kissed standing in front of me, but everyone could see them and not one of the pastors corrected them or said anything against them; it was as if it was a common thing. I could sense that the pastors did not like it, but they would not correct it either. I continued to speak and pray and the Lord began to speak through me and I walked towards the front where all the pastors and leaders were seated before the people.

The Lord spoke through me and said something like “until My work becomes your work it won’t work” or “until My will becomes your will it won’t work”. God was saying that nothing they try will work until they begin doing His will and His work. God was moving against them. That is why the owner of the building was falling into poverty, because God was moving against his works because he was not doing, nor was he concerned with God’s will.

I woke myself from the dream, because I was literally saying aloud in my sleep “it won’t work, it won’t work, it won’t work”.

Partial Interpretation Points

Much of the dream is self-explanatory, but here are a few potential points:

– Young people from college coming for a fashion show may represent a younger generation seeking to be clothed with righteousness, or a young generation coming to church for the wrong motives

– The pastor trying to seduce to stop the prayer could represent the seducing doctrine of the Nicolaitans or Jezebel

– The lesbians trying to distract the messenger and the pastors accepting it, could represent a feminine leadership style that appeals to the flesh of women

We shake a fist at God and trust in corrupt government and witchcraft business, casinos, idolatry and debt money to bring us back to life.

But God will destroy our city until the Churches in Detroit turn from our wickedness and pray night and day.

We are a prophetic microcosm of the failure, pandDEMONic violence and rioting, and unconstitutional Islamic takeover that is coming to ALL of America if the Church in Detroit doesn’t destroy our sin and our institutionalized racial division NOW.

The Fire, The Wind, and The Rain of the Holy Ghost on YOU!

What did God do at The Call? He did a whole lot… it won’t be until we get to heaven till we find out the full impact of what happened.

Many times supernatural miracles will be visible, but there is always a spiritual application as well. As a matter of fact, the spiritual component is often much more important. I’m so excited about what is soon to come, because spiritual violence always works. If we all continue to do the things that God dropped on our hearts at The Call, our cities will be transformed very soon – with the Fire, the Wind, and the Rain of God.

The Fire of God Fell:

– one men’s bible study I know decided to do a 3 day fast every month hereafter.

– one guy I know in another city decided to do a corporate fasting and prayer event.

– one group I know decided to do a 24 hour prayer meeting several times a year

That’s fire! That’s the fire of the Holy Spirit giving people a passion to seek God first. God’s fire is consuming His people.

14 Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them. Jeremiah 5

Winds of the Holy Ghost are blowing:

– I know people that were called to move geographically.

– I have a friend who is starting a tri-city bible study.

– Many people are moving their ministries to the next level, or to a new place.

The wind of the Holy Spirit is blowing, and He is sending people into the place that He has called them! Lot’s of God’s people are making moves and changing.

8 The wind bloweth where it listeth , and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh , and whither it goeth : so is every one that is born of the Spirit.  John 3

The Rain of the Holy Spirit:

– The rain of God dropped on everyone present. Everybody that I know was there had a noticeable refreshing of God.

– Many people were encouraged to step deeper into ministering with their gifts, and their vision was refreshed.

– I heard a testimony of one person who’s whole household was saved the day after the Call. He wasn’t even there. He’s a secular rapper and he just decided to call on Jesus and get saved.

19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted , that your sins may be blotted out , when the times of refreshing shall come *from the presence of the Lord;  Acts 3

Rain Brings Corn, Wine, and Oil

23 Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. 24 And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil. Joel 2

The Rain of God represents the vision, and the words that He drops on your heart. When you recieve it, it leads to growth of corn (sometimes called wheat), wine, and oil in your life. The Corn represents the teaching and instruction that comes from the Holy Spirit. The Wine represents the joy and confidence that comes to your emotions when you meditate and process the instruction from God. The Oil represents the boldness and power to accomplish what God has shown you.

14 That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil. Deuteronomy 11

Let’s keep it moving for the King! May God continue to send Fire, send Wind, and send the rain of His Spirit.

Summary of Principalities and Strongholds that will Bow to Jesus Tonight in Detroit

This is a summary of the revelations of Principalities and Strongholds in Detroit that God has given me and my wife through dreams, interpretations, our testimony, and the Word of God. We will be sharing the testimony in our upcoming book.

A local Bishop asked me to send them to him because God had shown him something similar about 5 points of repentance that were needed in the church. So I listed them in a nice pretty outline, with some links to teachings on this blog about them. It was deep, I actually sent them on October 31, which happened to be the same day Martin Luther posted his 95 theses for the Reformation. I did’nt even know that at first. Now you get to see the outline!

These are things that we have been repenting about at DaHOP (Detroit Area House of Prayer).  Our basic premise is Matthew 16 and Matthew 18. The Church already has All the Authority. “If it’s bound, the Church bound it. If it’s loosed, the Church loosed it.” When our obedience is fulfilled, God can revenge all disobedience (2 Corinthians 10). Therefore, we must repent and allow God’s word to change our minds if we want to see change, because it’s mostly our fault (Daniel 9, iRepent). We must repent from:

  1. Tolerating Jezebel– Toleration of Compromise, Spiritual Fornication, Teaching Idolatry
    1. Music and Ministry that mixes, and partners with the World (fornication). Christian musicians and singers and preachers that partner with the world usually end up in spiritual or natural fornication or adultery, or divorced. The natural is just a reflection of what they’ve already done spiritually.
    2. Music and Ministry that copies and follows the World (teaching God’s servants to eat food that has been sacrificed to idols). The best way to teach is by example. If our singers, rappers, and musicians copy and remix with the world, they pollute the whole church.
    3. Detroit has been the prototype city for allowing our Levitical sons and daughters to be seduced by Jezebel instead of giving God pure worship. From mammon and politically focused preachers to our compromising singers, we let God’s Levites make music about money and adultery instead of worshipping Him.
    4. There is a famous Detroit pastor who sang, sold his sermons, charged exorbitant fees to speak, had several adulteries, broken marriages (apostasy is divorce), and had a baby by a 13 year old in his own congregation. He encouraged his daughter to mix with the world and sing soul music for money. All this was done in the 1930s and 1940s, and we tolerated it – even celebrated this. Now we have generations that worship talent instead of God, so they are easily deceived.
    5. Afterwards, Motown became the prototype record label to all the labels that exist now. Their first hit song was “Money, That’s what I want.” Their second was “Gotta Shop Around.” Idolatry and Adultery. Most of their musicians and singers were children from the Church. Even the Beatles first hit song was a Motown song (Money, That’s What I Want). The negative and positive influence of Detroit on the world is mind-boggling.
    6. Even some of our gospel music copies and steals from the world – rejecting God’s creativity. We think it reaches more people, but according to Jesus – Jezebel’s doctrine is the depths of satan.
    7. There are serious repercussions to tolerating Jezebel, some of the most serious repercussions in the 7 letters to the Churches Revelations 2-3.
    8. Lustful looks among men, Sexual Dress among women
    9. Jezebel Exposed (in the Church)
  2. Judas’s Pragmatism– Betraying the Will and Purpose of God by following our own Mind and doing “What Works”
    1. The Detroit region is a stronghold for pragmatism. The industrial mentality can become “pragmatic” which is an extreme version of practicality. Henry Ford was known to be very practical, and influenced by pragmatism. Obviously, practical thinking can be used for good. However, pragmatism as a philosophy can be very evil. Henry Ford was known to be anti-Semetic. We do not know if his pragmatic way of thinking was the cause of his anti-Semetism.
    2. “Enemies of the cross, mind earthly things” – Philippians 2. Practical thinking that is not rooted in obedience to God’s will is pragmatism and self-worshipping disobedience. Earthly mindedness leads to satan entering in your mind. Jesus called both Judas and Peter satan when they exhibited earthly mindedness.
    3. Judas was earthly minded. God got His will done anyway, but “woe to him that betrays the Son of man.” We betray the purpose of our single lives, our families, our ministries, our churches when we put our will to do what we think will work above the scripturally stated will of God for each ministry.
    4. We Are Responsible for Abortion (The Judas Kiss). Racist eugenicist Margaret Sanger got family planning and birth control accepted in the church for “pragmatic” reasons nearly 40 years before abortion was legalized. She had genocide in her philosophies, but she didn’t say it outright. In the name of women’s health, contraception, and family limitation, she convinced us that children were a loss, not a profit; we should limit our families to what we think we can afford pragmatically. Her motto in her publication – Woman Rebel was “No Gods, No Masters.” We let her in the church and loosed it with our own authority.
    5. Contrary to popular belief, Margaret Sanger was NOT pro-abortion, she was against abortion, and she promoted birth control and family limitation. The anointing of motherhood is the only thing that stops the spirit of abortion which comes from family limitation. The root of abortion is not a law, it’s a mindset of pragmatism related to family.
    6. Some of us lose the anointing for increase because we purposefully limit God’s increase of godly seed. Earthly mindedness makes us think backwards. Purpose creates income, income doesn’t create purpose.
    7. We can’t point at Democrats, or Republicans, Obama, or Perry/Cain/Ron Paul to end abortion when we have all the authority. We are above them. Get birth control and family planning out of the church and abortion falls in the government, guaranteed.
  3. Dog-tongues and Wolfpacks– Using Our tongues against our brothers, Ministries who’s purpose is to tear down and steal from other ministries
    1. Using our tongues like dogs. Speaking negatively about other people, other ministries, other races, other churches.
    2. In many churches, every sermon has a “diss” of someone elses ministry in it. “That big church” “That small church” “That Baptist dollar” “Those Holy rollers”. “White people”
    3. We have authority over the atmosphere in our city… so Why is our city so violent? How is gang warfare any different from using our tongues against other churches? Our mouths and especially our pulpits create atmosphere.
    4. Destroying Dog-tongues and Wolfpacks. We need to create a culture of thanksgiving, blessing, honor, and intercession for people made in the image of God.
  4. Dead Men’s Bones and Hypocrites– Worshipping Traditions and Dead Men instead of following the Holy Ghost
    1. Resisting the Holy Ghost instead of at least supporting the new things that God Sovereignly does in each generation. Traditions make the Word of God void of power. In the past Detroit has been one of the most tradition – loving cities.
    2. We need to honor the old, and support the new. Both the New Wine and the Old wine can be preserved.
    3. Return the hearts of the Fathers to the Children, and the Hearts of the Children to the Fathers.
    4. Dead Men’s Bones and Hypocrites – It affects the legacy of the next generation. We destroy our children spiritually when we don’t allow them to create new wineskins for God’s new wine to flow in.
  5. Division and Thieves: racial division and denominational division, not being a house of prayer for all nations.
    1. We need to stop being the world’s best example of racial division on every Sunday. It’s loosed in the world because it’s loosed in the Church. We need desegregation in the Church.
    2. Being a place where thieves can hide, instead of a house of prayer for every ethnic group. Our di-vision makes our vision smaller, and therefore we don’t feel the need to pray night and day for all nations.
    3. This is also related to Judas and Jezebel, because it has to do with the purpose of God for the Church, and also the Music Ministry. If thieves steal the house of prayer from the Church, it’s a den of thieves. If Levites can’t or won’t be employed to worship God day & night, Jezebel and Judas have victory over them and steals their calling.
    4. Real Unity – One Mind on Jesus and Mouth on Christ
    5. The House of Prayer for every nation requires unity, regionally and racially.
    6. A House of Prayer for Every Ethnos
    7. Dividing ourselves from each other instead of finding agreement in our different roles.
  6. *Bonus* Babylon Business Principles in the Kingdom of God: brand warfare, usury, false balances, manipulation, slavery, witchcraft (pharmakia)
    1. Building our brands over being concerned with people.
    2. Putting profit before truth.
    3. Defrauding each other to the point where we need lawyers to judge.
    4. Embracing usury and debt, enslaving Gods’ people.
    5. Not keeping communication and transactions in simplicity (Romans 12).
    6. The Fear of the Lord is the Key to Economic Development.
    7. Whiskey River?
    8. Spiritual Sharecropping.
    9. This one is a bonus, because originally I didn’t have it as an iRepent event. I saw it as a Christian business problem more than a church problem. But I included it here because I heard a local presentation – on how Industrial Sharecropping effectually continued some to the basic tenets of slavery in Detroit until the 1980s – that enlightened me to the possibility of spiritual sharecropping.
    10. The church has all authority, so if it’s loosed, it’s because we loosed it. If slavery lasted until the 1980’s here, then the Church here was responsible. We may need repentance in some of these areas of our business principles.

Where Sin Did Abound, May Grace Much More Abound! We believe that when these false heads and spiritual strongholds are repented of, chopped off, and destroyed, The Body will be able to put our full focus on Jesus Christ, the Beautiful One.

This has been a tough journey, so I feel like saying something really dramatic here… but I’ll just drop the mic and say “Amen.”

A Notable Miracle

We want everyone to believe God for BIG things to happen on 11-11-11! Not only at Ford Field, but all over the nations. There are major prayer gatherings happening all over the world. Its the Global Day of Worship. There are stadiums being filled with prayer and worship in Egypt, in Australia, and in many other places… Not to mention that The Call will be streamed live across the planet on www.godtv.com. The last time the Body of Christ was on one accord like this, something MAJOR happened:

1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come , they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting . 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance . Acts 2

When the Holy Ghost comes like rushing mighty wind, He blows fire on His body, and they are filled with the Holy Ghost and manifest gifts of the Spirit. There was another time when the people of God were threatened by their enemies of tradition and religion. The people of God came together and prayed on one accord. Do you know what happened? Boldness came, the place shook, people were healed of sicknesses and diseases, and practical unity manifested.

29 And now, Lord, behold *their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, 30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. 31 And when they had prayed , the place was shaken where they were assembled together ; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness. 32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither *said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. 33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. Acts 4

Let’s pray that as the Body of Christ is on one accord again on 11-11-11, God would manifest a notable miracle!

Real Unity – One Mind on Jesus, One Mouth on Christ

As we prepare for the Call, one thing we need to pray about is Unity in the Church. Unity is actually Jesus the King’s #1 evangelism strategy. He prayed that we would be one, so that the world could believe in Him.

 21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. John 17:21

But what is real unity. Real Biblical Unity is not ecumenicalism, its not putting aside our beliefs, its not everybody joining the same organization, or sitting in the same building. True Unity is conforming our beliefs to the image of Christ and the Word of God. Real unity is found in Romans 15

6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 15:6

One Mind – Thinking the same things about Jesus Christ.

One Mouth – Saying the same things about Jesus Christ.

When we look at Jesus Christ long and hard enough in His Word and by His Spirit, we all will start seeing the sames glorious and beautiful things about Him. Then we will be changed into His image. We will stop fightiing with our different roles, and see each other connected to Christ. We will chop off every false head, principality, stronghold or idol that leads us away from Him. We won’t be in disagreement about Jesus, we will be in agreement with Jesus and about Jesus.

Every ministry will think the same things about Jesus. Every ministry will say the same things about Jesus Christ. That’s true Unity.

Spiritual Violence (Radio Station Testimony)

I remember a couple years ago we did a One Song for Christ Rally in front of the offices of Hot 102.7. We protested, set up a sound system. Mustard Seed Generation organized it. Brotha Dre rapped, DJ Intangibles djed, we marched, chanted, prayed, preached the gospel. People thought we were crazy, it was only a few of us. Even Christians told us we were going about it the wrong way, that we were causing trouble.

People in the city council even tried to stop it. But  a few weeks earlier we had done a March On Sin Rally with MOS Nation to Nation around the City County building too! This was two years before Occupy Wall Street, Occupy the FED, or any of that. The Body of Christ has WAY more authority than them. We have all the authority.

Spiritual Violence is the Ground Floor of the Kingdom of God

 Matthew 11

11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence , and the violent take it by force .

Fasting, Prayer, and Preaching Repentance is Spiritual Violence. Its the Nazirite/Forerunner/Holiness anointing of John the Baptist that leads to the Kingdom. Spiritual Violence is the Ground floor of the Kingdom of God. And the least in the Kingdom of Jesus Christ is even greater than John the Baptist, because Jesus takes us higher. But even Jesus Christ Himself built from the ground floor of Spiritual Violence – fasting, prayer, and preaching repentance. Simple faith in the Blood and Cross of Christ gives you salvation. But kingdom dominion comes thru spiritual violence.

Matthew 11

13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. 14 And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come . 15 He that hath ears to hear , let him hear . 16 But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows, 17 And saying , We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced ; we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented . 18 For John came neither eating nor drinking , and they say , He hath a devil. 19 The Son of man came eating and drinking , and they say , Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.

Haters gon’ hate. Hard hearts don’t move.

If you sing a happy song they don’t dance. If you sing a sad song they don’t cry.

If you fast and pray, and preach and live holiness – they call you extreme and crazy, “holier than thou.”

If you fast for 40 days, and then eat and drink – while you preach, teach and heal people, and fellowship with music and dancing – they say you are just a sinner.

But guess what? Obedience Works. Look at the Fruit!

Spiritual Authority. Spiritual Violence. God is POWERFUL when we are obedient. We obey in Humility and Self-Sacrifice, so God gets all the Glory.

Dead Men’s Bones & Hypocrites Destroy the Legacy of the Next Generation

One of the stumbling blocks that God has shown must be removed in the Church is Dead Men’s Bones & Hypocrites. This is not really about who’s ministry is the most correct… this is about the children, and the next generation.

The Pharisees thought that they were righteous because they gave so much honor to the prophets of the past. But spiritually, they were prophet-killers, because they sought to kill the new message that God was bringing in their generation. In their zeal to protect and honor the old they destroyed their own legacy.

Dead Men’s Bones

for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness. 28 Even so ye also *outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. 29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous, 30 And say , If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. 31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets. Matthew 23

Jesus Christ is in charge of His Church. Holy Spirit is in charge of releasing fresh revelation of the Word in every generation. He reveals all truth (John 15). God’s mercy endures, His truth to all generations (Psalms 117).

17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break , and the wine runneth out , and the bottles perish : but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved . Matthew 9

New wine needs new wineskins. There are new movements, and therefore new organizations and organisms that God needs to build every generation. The new will not fit inside the old. But the new needs to honor the old, and the old needs to honor the new, so that both are preserved.

But unfortunately – in the history of the Church – new wineskins, new organizations, and new things that God is doing are attacked. Also, sometimes the new generation attacks the old.

51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye. 52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted ? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers: Acts 7

By worshipping dead men’s bones and resisting the Holy Ghost, you end up a spiritual murderer.

Hypocrite – What you become when you resist the Holy Ghost

 Jesus called the Pharisees hypocrites because they were actors.

 Hypocrite:

  • one who answers, an interpreter
  • an actor, stage player
  • a dissembler, pretender, hypocrite

24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel. 25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. 26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also. 27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Matthew 23

When you worship dead men’s bones, and resist the Holy Ghost (what God is doing now), you end up just delivering lines with no real life in them. You end up being an actor. There’s no spiritual life in it – its just acting – so you end up dirty inside.

As I have been planning for my family and raising my first son, God has shown me that I need to pass on to my family more than what I know, and the doctrine I know. I need to pass on a hunger for God’s Spirit and what He is always currently doing. I don’t want my grandchildren worshipping my dead bones, or the dead bones of the founder of any church, denomination, or movement… because if so, they will end up spiritually dead and deaf to what God is doing in their generation.

You need an understanding of the Word and an Awareness of what the Holy Spirit did and is doing in every generation. A true spiritual legacy is humility and a hunger for the Word and Spirit of God. My children won’t survive on my revelation. They may die if that’s all they get, because the times will have changed.

21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever. Isaiah 59

Believe God for the Word and Spirit to fall on each generation. God will always do new things. The hearts of the fathers must turn to the children, and the hearts of the children must turn to the fathers (Malachi 4). 

Let’s repent for worshipping dead men’s bones and resisting the Holy Ghost. Let’s repent for being actors with more allegiance to organizations and forms than to God. Let’s also honor the prophets and fathers of the past, but build upon what God showed them by digging into God right now.
