Being young talented and cute is very beneficial, and actually to your advantage in American hollywood/hip hop/Greco Roman performance-image based culture.
But over here in the kingdom of God we don’t need more kid actors with young dumb cute talent… we actually value maturity, wisdom, growth, faithfulness, and good fruit.
We don’t mind having jobs, keeping marriage covenants, raising godly children, building and serving churches… We press toward the mark and grow up into stability and maturity. Listen up, Grow up, and yes we need your voice but please speak for God and not for yourself!
Ecclesiastes 11
9 Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment.

We don’t need your Hollywood, we don’t need your music industry! We don’t need your TV fame!!! We don’t need your movies!!!!
We need strong FAMILIES and strong CHURCHES that take authority in the earth in the beauty of holiness!!!
My child is talented but he will not be your spiritual prostitute or your super-whore bi-spiritual music producer!!!
My child is beautiful but she is not for sale!!! She is not your model or your actor or your prostitute or your hypocrite!
Not now, not when she turns 18, never!
Somebody needs to share this message in every church in America. We chase the world every generation and it backfires every single generation. When will we learn?
“I was sitting in a green room with a well-known individual when my wife walked in, holding our little princess. The gentleman sitting next to me took notice of what her mom and I already knew.
“That girl is absolutely gorgeous!” he exclaimed. Then he added, “She needs to be on TV.”
Instinctively, I responded, “I love her too much to prostitute her to the world like that.”
Extreme? Not at all. I’m not interested in raising a star. I’m raising a saint!
Right now, the world is watching as Justin Bieber becomes the latest to take the all-too-familiar path that so many have blazed before him. It’s striking to see how many of these fallen stars begin their ascent to fame in the church. They left God’s house for the promise of bright lights, adoring fans and big paydays. Many times they end up in the jailhouse, crack house or funeral home. ”
I say stuff like this all the time. It sounds crazy… but my kids are not going to be spiritual whores no matter how beautiful or talented they are. They are not actors or performers or models they are worshippers and servants of God and builders of His Church.
When I saw this website and video about AMTC (Actors, Models and Talent for Christ), it almost brought tears to my eyes… So much deception.
They are farming for young Christian talent and selling them to the entertainment industry. This needs to be nipped in the bud the devil is trying to steal an entire generation. This is spiritual prostitution.
Points of departure from truth:
1. The Holy Spirit is not in the business of selling talent to the entertainment industry.
Jesus was clear in His preaching against the leaven of the Pharisees “hypocrisy.” A hypocrite is basically an actor in real life. So why would Jesus call someone to be a hypocrite AND work for the entertainment industry?
Paul was clear that oratory talent, rhetorical skills, and “the persuasive words of men’s wisdom” (which were common in Greek religion) were not the tools that he used to preach the gospel (1 Corinthians 2:1-4).
2. All successful models of discipleship and evangelism in using talent for God are in the Church. The Church is called to evangelize the world. How is this complicated?
– International House Of Prayer – church, house of prayer, and music ministry/label, etc
– Sherwood Baptist Church – church that also produces top quality Christian movies
– Living Waters – makes Great Media defending the faith
– Ex Ministries – makes great media defending the faith.

3. Whenever the main thing you learn is how to “market yourself” – you can be assured that’s in not centered in Christ.
For we preachnotourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.
There is no successful evangelism or missionary work that is not from the church, helping the church or planting churches.
4. None of Jesus disciples were employed by false ministries to spread the gospel. They worked in ministry, or they worked with their hands in a natural skill to raise money. Paul did not join up with “Diana of the Ephesians” Union to shine the light.
5. I would understand this ministry if it was meant to train young Christians to start churches or serve in churches that impacted the world… Or maybe even plant churches in Hollywood or LA. But handing a generation of Christians over to the entertainment industry? That’s deception!
6. Have you seen the fruit of “Christians” in the entertainment industry? : Divorce, false doctrine, apostasy, adultery, falling away from the faith, alcoholism, drugs, eventually changing their message, promoting lust, cursing, compromising more and more over time… etc.
For every successful Godly covenant family in the entertainment industry (if any exist) there are probably 49 broken ones. Is this the rate of return God wants for His Word and His Sons Blood in our generation?
7. Has God decided to stop making preachers, pastors, apostles? Did he do this so that those He called could go work for the entertainment industry and cool off their faith within 7 years?
Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into thecondemnationofthedevil.
9. The devil is skilled at corrupting musical talent, wisdom,pride, merchandising ability to spread iniquity. Sending children into the entertainment industry that Satan has mastered is a recipe for disaster. It will take 7-8 years… but the fruit will prove to be horrible. If you observe the last 80 years in the church you can see the pattern already. If you choose to be blind, you won’t see it.
Ezekiel 28
12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord God; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
