Jezebel Rebelled Against God WHILE Honoring Her Husband
Just because a wife “honors and obeys her husband” doesn’t mean they don’t still follow the doctrine of Jezebel.
The first named Jezebel in Scripture honored her husband Ahab so much that she used all her gifts to support his spiritually weak and wicked disobedience.
Her and her children were still destroyed because of her rebellion against GOD’S AUTHORITY, not against her husband’s authority.
In the New Covenant, the spirit of Jezebel is a gifted and prophetic rebellion against the authority and order of the Most High, and she brings outside corrupted influences into the Kingdom of God and the Assembly (Body) of His Son.
Jesus is patient with her, giving her space to repent… but His patience doesn’t last forever. A spirit of death kicks in eventually (see Revelation 2:22-23).
Don’t neglect God’s Authority (Law) , His Body, or His Ordinances.
Submit to the Order of God, then you will be able to save your husband and children.
1 Corinthians 7:14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.
Jezebel CALLS HERSELF to be a Prophetess
When GOD CALLS a godly woman to be a prophetess, it’s not just a prophetic gift anymore. There is a call to serve tangibly and submit to the order that can bring correction. This develops humility and long term fruitfulness.
When a woman with a prophetic gift CALLS HERSELF to be a prophetess, there is a pride that cannot be corrected or instructed because of the self-call. There is a stubborn avoidance of submitting their gift to the structure that God designed to develop long term fruitfulness in the kingdom. The more she pushes her voice to outweigh true spiritual authority, the more her followers suffer consequences of spiritual failure and spiritual death.
Jezebel’s Doctrine of Partial Submission also brings the Depths of Satan into the Churches
Jezebel is so gifted that she ends up thinking that everything she hears is from God. This is contrary to Jesus, who judged everything that He heard by God’s known will and testimony (John 5:30).
The pride lifts her up to the point where her soul no longer seeks to be in relationship under God’s physical and spiritual authority and order (1 Corinthians 11:1-3).
Then she is put in a position where the devil can speak to her and she won’t know the difference; simply because she is unsubmitted.
Why? Because Lucifer was the first being to know God’s voice and be in His presence, but still be unsubmitted to His order (Isaiah 14:13-15, Ezekiel 28:17).
This is how the doctrine of Jezebel ends up causing even people “within the churches” to give a tithe of their prophetic gifts to satan (Revelation 2:24). They honor Lucifer by being only partially submitted to God’s authority.
Revelation 2:24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.
