IS MASTURBATION A SIN?
Q: I know fornication is a sin, adultery is a sin, etc… Is masturbation a sin? Does the Bible give any examples? Growing up, I was taught that it was okay, and that everybody does it but I learned from a preacher that it’s self worship. Don’t know if it’s a Rama word or if it can also be found in the Holy Scriptures.
A: Thanks so much for your question. I believe that masturbation is addressed in scripture in Romans 13:14 “But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.”
– definition of provision : forethought, providential care, to make provision for a thing
When you masturbate you are using forethought to make provision for your flesh… You are also providing yourself with someone to lust after who is not your spouse (this is adultery according to Jesus). Instead of putting out a fire of sin, you are lighting a fire of sin.
Masturbation makes you a slave to the hormones that are running through your blood instead of the master of your fleshly hormones. It’s not even good for your brain, it makes your mind a servant of hormone chemicals.
Hebrews 13:4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
Any sexual activity that is done outside of the marriage bed (together with your wife) is defiled and brings judgement… even if its not immediate. Oftentimes we reap judgement in our own mind, body, or spirit.
PROTESTING THE CHURCH?
Did you see what happened with that New Era Detroit group and that church there?
i heard about that, I saw it. Sad situation. YOu can’t come into a church causing ruckus. Regardless as to your disagreement you have to realize that the church is full of men with wives and children who will protect their families. You cant run up in a private residence and start a public protest, that’s just dumb.
Yes people do have valid complaints… some of these preachers do misrepresent God. But you don’t get violent with a ministry just because you don’t agree with it. Use communication skills instead of violence. Or just separate from that ministry.
Spiritual authority is in prayer, fasting, and preaching/persuasion. Not in violence.
CAPITAL PUNISHMENT?
What is God’s position on Capital Punishment?
For earthly governments, I believe God has established capital punishment. Its not to be used by the Body of Christ (like John Calvin did), because we operate in a different kingdom. However it was prescribed for the Nation of Israel so I don’t think God is against it.
SHOULD GOD’S PEOPLE BE PROTESTING?
What’s His position on His ppl becoming involved in social/civil protest…?
As far as civil protest. We are not of this world, so we don’t fight physically (Jesus taught us that). But we do fight spiritually thru prayer and fasting, and obedience to God. We are called to care for the poor and oppressed. We are also called to speak out with our spiritual authority (Proverbs 31). We should be able to preach repentance to both sides of any issue without respect of persons. We are not called to marvel at oppression, but we should be able to speak to it with the authority of God, as well as compassion for those that mourn. Our confidence should be that God is higher than the oppressors and that God will eventually replace corrupt powers. We should be able to preach and teach that with clarity.
Ecclesiastes 5:8 If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province,marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they.

Its hard to condense an 8 hours of scripture by scripture teaching into a Q&A, but I’ll give a quick summary.
DNA is cool, historical documents are cool, archaeology is cool… but Scriptures have spiritual authority. When I was 17 and I first started reading the bible cover to cover every year, one of the first things I did was highlight was highlight all the First Testament prophecies and scriptures that referred to Jesus.
When you do that one of the first things you realize is that bible prophecy is very detailed, its not random. There’s not a lot of guys that could be the Messiah. There’s only one.
When I first heard “Hebrew Israelite” teachers a lot of them were ignorant of the gospel, void of the Holy Ghost, and racist, and still undelivered from demons. Needless to say, it wasn’t too appealing.
However when I started to hear strong Spirit filled Christ centered believers quote some of the same scriptures, I begin to wonder if there was some truth to what the Hebrew Isrealites said about the actual identity of the Scattered Tribes of Israel.
I started to do my own research, and with prayer and fasting God opened my eyes to a lot of the prophecies in the bible. It helped me get much deeper understanding of bible prophecies and connecting them to modern history and today’s times as well.
So I basically found out that the prophecies concerning the scattered tribes of Israel are very specific, not general. So if we use the same standard of scripture interpretation that we use to determine the identify of Yeshua the Messiah, we will easily see who the Scattered Tribes of Israel are and what happened to them.
It doesn’t mean the Scattered tribes are better than anyone else… it actually means we should be the most humble. We rejected God the most and we rejected Jesus the Messiah first, and we were the first racists. That’s why we were punished so severely. Jesus is our only hope.
ARE YOU A HEBREW ISRAELITE?
You a Hebrew Israelite bro?
NO, I’m just a Christian that believe what the bible says about the Scattered Tribes of Israel. I don’t believe in all the extra Apocrypha books. I don’t trust those other books because A lot of them have errors. Maccabees was written between Malachi and Matthew – that’s a period when God wasn’t speaking like that. They have a lot of questionable errors in them.
We can know all things by the Holy Spirit that’s inside us. Most of those extra books aren’t even anointed. They don’t fit with the Spirit of God nor are they consistent with the rest of the scriptures, nor do they testify about Jesus.
I would never change my faith in the bible or Jesus. Just because I see information about the Scattered Tribes of Israel in the bible, that doesn’t change the gospel AT ALL. Righteousness still doesn’t come by the Law, it only comes through Christ. Christ is the end of the law for righteousness. You can keep the law if you want to for wisdom or productivity’s sake, but there’s no spiritual salvation in the law.
Even IF I personally am a Historical Hebrew Israelite by blood or ethnicity… what’s more important is that I’m a Hebrew by the Blood of Jesus. Hebrew blood couldn’t save my ancestors, so why would it save me? The works of the law couldn’t save my ancestors, so why would it save me?
WHAT IS JACOB’S TROUBLE?
I’m interested in hearing more, if you’re willing to share, about your connection of African Americans to Jacob and Jeremiah 30 and 31?
I’ll share a couple things about Jeremiah 30 and 31.
- VS 3 It says that Israel AND Judah would be gathered… Not just Judah. All 12 Tribes. That connects it with the future, it’s a prophecy that hasn’t been fulfilled yet (like Isaiah 11:11-13).
- Vs 6 Jacobs Trouble is a day where all the men and women of this people group Israel and Judah are in severe emotional pain from all the trouble they go through. But then they are delivered and God releases them from the captivity of strangers.
- Vs 9 Jesus the Son of David will be in full authority. That means this is at the return of Christ.
- Vs 10 when God delivers this people to their land (Jerusalem), it will be peaceful. It won’t be surrounded by war. That also means this is a future prophecy that hasn’t been fulfilled yet.
- Vs 11 All the nations where the Tribes of Israel were scattered will be ended.
Hopefully that should be a good framework to understand the rest of both of those chapters. In order to understand this you have to look at all the bible prophecies concerning the Scattered Tribes of Israel. This doesn’t mean that all “African Americans” will be saved. It means that those that believe and obey Jesus will be gathered into His kingdom along with European based, Asian based, Native American based, and African based believers in Jesus.
WHAT’S YOUR HEART ON WHITE SUPREMACY?
You made a statement saying,” The sooner we disconnect Jesus from white supremacy the sooner revival can break out in the Body of Christ.” Can you explain this clearer? I feel like this can be read various ways. I want to understand your heart?
White supremacy is a philosophy that promoted that European-based people are superior to all the other people on the planet. Some of it is based on the lies of evolution, and some of it is based on lies imposed on to the bible and onto Jesus Christ.
Some people think that Jesus was a white man that was blonde or looked Italian.
Something people think that every character in the Bible was European.
Some people think that Gods plan for spreading the gospel was to use Europeans to murder Native Americans.
Some people think that political and economic conquests and crusades were Gods plan for spreading the gospel.
These lies are unbiblical, yet unfortunately many people connect Jesus to these lies.
Some people absorb these lies unconsciously and get infected with pride. Pride goes before a fall.
Some people absorb these lies unconsciously and get infected with inferiority even though they were made to have dignity in the image of God.
These lies are causing people to stumble and turn away from true Christianty. These lies are dangerous for people’s souls, and they mar the glory of the Son of God.
There are people that are so hurt by the lies that have made them feel inferior that they are turning to Egypt, turning to worshipping their ancestors, turning to anything to avoid being associated with a religion that they feel was used to oppress their ethnicity.
So I say that initial statement out of concern for souls. The more the truth comes out that Jesus has nothing to do with the lies of white supremacy, colonialism, and political conquest (and actively punishes those who do evil deeds), the more the Body of Christ can be healed and unified, and release a revival of reconciliation and God’s Spirit.
So I hope that helps you understand, my heart is for the Truth, for the glory of Jesus name, and to help deliver souls from deception.
