Today is Truth or Lie Thursday! Inbox me your questions, doubts, issues, or beefs with the Bible or Christianity or Jesus Christ, and I won’t blast you but I’ll do some research and inbox you back with an answer that is (hopefully) good for you!
HOW DO WE PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM?
Q: Do you disagree with this? Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
Psalms 122:6
A: I completely agree with it but you have to have an understanding of the time we live in versus the time that was written. Luke 21:20 talks about the time for Jerusalem to be destroyed. Revelations 11:8 talks about the last days version of Jerusalem not actually being spiritually Jerusalem. Revelation 2:9 and 3:9 talks about Jews that say they are Jews but are liars. Revelations 22 talks about the New Jerusalem coming down from heaven.
So which version of Jerusalem are we believing God for?
That’s the Jerusalem that we see now is the Jerusalem of Revelations 11:8. Its not the old Jerusalem of Psalms 122:6. Nor is it the New Jerusalem that came down from heaven. It’s the Jerusalem that Jesus said will be trampled by GENTILES, until the time of the GENTILES are fulfilled (Luke 21:24).
According to Jesus in Luke 21 the times of the gentiles started at least by AD 70. The Gentiles still rule the world until Jesus Christ returns. He is the King of the Jews. The current version of Jerusalem was given to them by the British for Jew-ish bankers helping them win World War 1. That had nothing to do with the return of Christ. That’s just Gentiles trampling Jerusalem.
So you have to get an understanding of the times and seasons before you use one scripture out of context to manipulate people into bombing innocent Arab children.
All I’m saying is that the kingdom of man is not the kingdom of God, so we should stop supporting the unjust economic and poltical wars of the kingdoms of men by using scriptures out of context. Its sorcery and God will expose it and judge it harshly.
HOW IS TRUMP JUST LIKE OBAMA?
Q:How do you compare Trump to Obama?
A: Christians who are happy about Donald Trump winning are of the same spiritual immaturity as the Christians who were happy when Obama won in 2008. And they are being headed towards a strong spiritual delusion, just like in 2008. I gave plenty of warnings in 2008, so it’s only fair I’m giving the same warnings now. You got your king, now you will see what your king will do for you.
Psalm 106:15 And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.
Black Christians were decieved by Obama and paid for it spiritually by sowing into the gay agenda and delusion. White Christians are being deceived by Trump and will pay for it spiritually by sowing into an agenda of destruction if we as the Body don’t repent and become humble and unified instead of prideful and divided by politics.
DO I HAVE TO VOTE TO PLEASE GOD?
Q: Does Render unto Caesar what belongs to Caesar mean I have to vote?
A: Give unto Caesar that which belongs to Caesar. We give Caesar taxes. It’s not a law that we are required to vote.
If we feel “required” to vote when we are not, that’s proof that we have given Caesar our soul’s hope, which belongs to God. Give unto God that which belongs to God.
We are required to pay taxes, but we are not required to vote if we do not want to support a candidate.
I’m not saying it’s a sin to vote, I’m saying its a sin to vote for sin. You can vote if you want to, but if there are no good choices, you do not have to feel “forced” or “coerced” to vote.
Be led by the Spirit and your own research don’t let anyone force you to support something you don’t believe in. If there’s somebody/something that you DO have peace with, go vote for it
HOW DO I BECOME A WHOLE BIBLE CHRISTIAN?
Q: I have been recently introduced to the black hebrew doctrine…I agree with many of the precepts (Sabbath, discipline, law-keeping, rejection of the deception of a white Jesus, serious commentment to TORAH) however, I have a difficult time grasping (accepting) the black hebrew portion and the exclusion of particular ethnicities. I have separated myself from the “Christian church” long before learning about black Israelites…but now I find myself on an island. I would describe myself as a WHOLE BIBLE CHRISTIAN (meaning not leaning more toward either testament…old (jewish) new (modern-day Christianity) but adhering to both equally. I want input on your perspective.
A: Whole Bible Christianity, that sounds awesome, whatever that is, keep doing that! My perspective is that Jesus (Yeshua) Messiah is the key to whole bible Christianity. When it comes to the doctrine of the Scattered Tribes of Israel that is found throughout the Bible, we have to realize that even though it’s in the Bible, it doesn’t replace the gospel in terms of salvation. As a matter of fact, it helps us understand the gospel even better. It helps us fear the Lord because it gives us an accurate biblical-to-today picture of the law of God and the curse of the law in real life.
But it gives us hope, because we know that Christ is the end of the law for righteousness. So even though we understand what ethnicity we are according to the biblical prophecies, we still place all of our hope in Jesus when it comes to righteousness and salvation. As I always say, if the law couldn’t save us the first time, how will it save us now? We should be an example to the nations of the blessing of trusting and following Jesus our Messiah. And as for the pagan traditions of Roman based Christianity, we should be able to get rid of all of them and just follow Jesus in Purity and true worship.
There is a sweet spot After the Cross & Resurrection and before Constantine that we need to get back to, called Holy Ghost filled Whole Bible Christianity. We know that going back to the law cannot save us… We also know that these Roman Empire corruptions to Christianity are empty and fruitless. So we have to get back to that biblical sweet spot between 33AD and 313AD and live in the power of the Kingdom of God today.
AM I DEPRIVING MY CHILDREN BY NOT CELEBRATING PAGAN HOLIDAYS?
Q: I was listening to the radio on the car a couple weeks ago and the radio show host was telling people to allow their children to dress up and trick or treat to “let them be kids” like their parents allowed them to do when they were kids and to not be hypocrites. A friend told me they did trunk or treat at their church in order to be present in the community and give kids a safe place to “celebrate”. Aren’t these both wrong?
And now that we’re moving into the Christmas season, my husband and I were having a talk about putting up a Christmas tree, something we’ve never done. His parents think we’re taking away from our children’s “experience” of Christmas because we don’t put up a tree and we didn’t teach our daughter about Santa Claus.
A: Whether you are raising Godly seed, or whether you are only responsible for yourself, its important to follow your own conscience and convictions instead of following pressure to be normal and fit in with the world.
James 1:23 says that pure and undefiled religion is to visit the fatherless and widow in their affliction, and to be unspotted from the world. So to have a heart to be unspotted from worldly and ungodly things is a good thing in God’s sight. Other people may not like it, but God honors it.
Also, your children will benefit spiritually from understanding that its okay to be different and set apart unto God while also being kind to others. When those spiritual muscles are developed, it will help them serve God when the pressure becomes greater when they leave your house. They will be comfortable with not fitting in, and that is important when you are a Christian.
As far as preaching the gospel to children and giving them a safe place… we don’t need ungodly holidays to do that.
As far as Christmas, the roots of that celebration (Winter Solstice) are just as pagan as Halloween (Samhain). The Roman Catholic Church whitewashed these celebrations in order to try to make Christianity “Universal” and acceptable to pagans. In the long term, that ministry strategy doesn’t really work out.
When the Spirit of God is leading you to be holy and sanctified, it will always pay off to follow the Holy Spirit rather than compromise to be acceptable with the world. God will always reward you, so be confident in following your convictions. When your children are older, you will see the results.
Galatians 6 7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
WHY CAN’T I HAVE MULTIPLE WIVES LIKE THE BIBLE DAYS?
Q: Why Did God bless Jacob when he had multiple wives?
A: Even though they were blessed and chosen, God’s people always suffered for their sins. Abraham, David, and Jacob suffered from horrendous family violence and strife in their lineages that all came from having multiple wives and affairs. God’s law and God’s wisdom is here to protect us from the results of our foolish choices. But our salvation is by faith.
God’s plan is one man and one woman. However when it comes to God’s plan to send the Messiah, there was no way for Him to send our Savior thru a perfect line of people. There were prostitutes, adulterers, murderers. God’s chosen people were never perfect, they were just people that believed in God and were willing to follow Him and change.
IS THE TRINITY REALLY IN THE BIBLE?
Q: I’ve been looking in Scriptures and all I see are passages referring to only God and Christ Jesus as One as the Godhead not as three separate…
A: Not really true.
When God created the World, He said “Let Us”. The word for us is Elohim. Elohim is a plural term, which is not one, or two, but 3 or more. That’s 3 in creation.
Matthew 3 at Jesus’s Baptism. Jesus was in the Water. The Spirit descended like a dove. The Father’s voice came from heaven. There’s 3 in 3 different places doing 3 different things.
Ephesians 4 Apostle Paul is describing the Unity of the Family of God. clearly delineates One Body, One Spirit, One Lord, and One Father. There’s the Body of Christ, and there’s 3.
1 Peter 1 Apostle Peter teaches that we are Elect according the Foreknowledge of God, through Sanctification of the Spirit, to the Obedience and the Blood of Jesus Christ. That’s 3, with 3 different functions in salvation.
John Chapter 16 Jesus says He is going to His Father. And that He will send the Comforter. That’s 3, and He is also separating them with His verbs, showing that they are separate and move differently.
When we see patterns in the Scripture, its important to recognize them.
