The gospel of the Kingdom takes a backseat to ABSOLUTELY NOTHING on this green, brown, & blue stationary flat earth.
Many servants of God take rejection way too personally. We want to be popular and well liked and respected by men.
When the gospel is rejected we tend to try to come up with clever strategies to help gain us more respect so we can “sneak the gospel in thru the backdoor” after we get people to accept us and like us without the gospel.
However that’s not what Jesus taught:
Yes it’s ok to work a non-spiritual or technical job such as carpenter (Jesus) or tentmaker (Paul) in between, or prior to ministry work.
However, to water-down, altar, or corrupt the Kingdom ministry methods of Jesus is not acceptable, nor is it fruitful.
If you serve Him, then serve Him!
3 John 1:7 Because that for HIS NAME’s SAKE they went forth, TAKING NOTHING OF THE GENTILES.
