The best way to understand God’s heart is to understand the marriage covenant.
God desires a two-way relationship of love and respect. He wants us to understand him and to know him, and for us to know that he understands us and knows us.
He wants to walk and talk with us. He’s not a genie or a hippie or a performer. He wants a real relationship of Covenant Love and Covenant Honor. He wants Consistent Communication and Faithful Action.
