The Lesson of Adam & Eve

The Lesson of Adam & Eve

My marriage is in a great place right now. My wife is awesome and she is sweet to me. We both fear God, and love and forgive each others sins and mistakes.

BUT I just had a dream filled with DRAMA. I woke up stressed out, because I hate drama… I hate drama so much I had to wake up on purpose to cut the dream short. But then I realized this dream was for a man of God struggling in their marriage.

This dream had a lesson in it. It’s the lesson of Adam & Eve. Here’s the lesson of Adam & Eve:

Men of God: even if you try your best to love your wife, she might listen to the devil and then do something sinful in her rebellion against you. She might “eat the fruit” of rebellion in any number of ways. She might honor the children more than you. She might have learned rebellion from her feminist mama or her feminist church.

At this point you have a decision to make. She listened to the devil and ate the fruit. Do you eat it too? Do you choose Violence? Do you choose Adultery?

The answer is NO. Don’t let her sin against you – push you to sin against God. Let her sin by herself! Then, you will retain the power to forgive and redeem her like Christ forgave and redeemed His church.

If she refuses to repent, she will go to hell by herself. But make sure you don’t go there with her!

Don’t choose sin. Don’t choose retaliation. Choose Forgiveness. Choose Obedience to God regardless! At the end of the day, a man of God has to live for Judgement Day!

Don’t follow your wife like the first Adam. Follow your father in heaven, like the second Adam… even if it means you have to suffer.

It will pay off in the end!
