Christlikeness – The ministry of Christ

Suffering. Rejection. Persecution. Ridicule. These are the marks of those qualified to represent heaven on earth.

Always choose lowliness🙏🏾

Jesus Loved, Served, and Discipled Judas even though He was completely aware that Judas was assigned by the devil to betray Him. #ThatsLove #BeChristLike

👑🏔👑You don’t know the ministry of Christ until you’ve experienced:

– people that you’ve poured your life out for tell you that you have no love

– people that you patiently teach by example tell you that you’re too deep and spooky and useless

– people that you actively serve tell you that you’re rebellious

– people that you respect and show kindness to spitting in your face.

If you can suffer those things, and still serve in love and refuse to run away, then you will know the ministry of Christ.

Ephesians 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ‘s sake hath forgiven you.
Your biggest opportunity to be like Christ isn’t to get rich, famous, influential, or viral. It’s not even really when you heal the sick, cast out devils, or preach the gospel.

Your biggest opportunity to become like Christ is when you love those that hate you, and serve those that gossip about you and spy on you.

Its when you keep your Father in Heaven’s Commandments and walk in His holiness, speaking and doing His Words even though it guarantees hatred and persecution. Yet you can still sing, dance, spin, and rejoice in Him, because that’s when you receive your greatest rewards!

You can respect those that don’t respect you, and even give your life for them in love – because your greatest treasure is knowing Christ!

Your best sign of Christlikeness is not signs & wonders, or your impact on others, or your display of power or miracles… but it’s when you are rejected by the people you give your life for – and still somehow choose obedience and love.

  • THIS IS THE HIGH CALLING!!!
  • EMBRACE the SUFFERING.
  • BE like JESUS.
  • LOVE your ENEMIES!

His enemies were the people He helped, fed, loved, and gave His life for.

John 1:11

He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

If people can ignore their OWN CONSCIENCE, why do you get mad when they ignore you? #chill

John 5:41
I receive not honour from men.
❤😁✌🏾

When you do what you do for the Lord – He will reward you! He knows how to get it to you when people don’t think you deserve it.

If Christlikeness is your goal, then rejection from man is your portion…. and the Reward will be GREAT!!

Jesus Endured the Contradictions of Sinners… he suffered much more than we ever will. Look unto Jesus!

Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

To know Christ is to suffer for the obedience of His faith.

When we suffer for our disobedience, we don’t get rewarded for that.

When we suffer for our obedience to Him, we attain resurrection power, eternal rewards, and we get to know Him very closely.

Philippians 3:10
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; 11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

People Will Try to Bury Your Reputation Like they Buried Christ

There are people that will ridicule you for imitating Jesus and obeying His Apostles and Prophets the best you can. There are people that will call you narcissistic for finding yourself in the Scripture and obeying it. The more you grow, the more hatred you will get.

John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

I follow Jesus and Keep His Commandments not from Narcissism but from Obedience to His Word and His Spirit, by His Grace, because of His Mercy. He loved me so I love Him back.

He’s Worth it!

I see myself in the Scriptures because He is the One who lives in me! So when you bury me I will rise just like Him!

  1. Thank you for your encouragement. It really hurts when people in my own family do not understand my love for God’s word. I pray every day that they would develop a thirst and hunger for more of God and that when they read the Bible they would feel amazingly loved. I’m hanging in here til that happens.
