Mark the Ones Who Cry

Ezekiel 9

 1He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.

 2And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer’s inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar.

 3And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer’s inkhorn by his side;

 4And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

 5And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:

 6Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.

Where are those in God’s house wo will cry out? Who will literally cry for the abominations done in His sanctuary? For the unclean being called clean? The church celebrates while “gospel” singers and choirs sing with worldly purposes. Who is going to cry out for homosexuality being tolerated in the church? For the fornication that is tolerated and covered up for in the church? For the children that are neglected and left to the school system and entertainment to raise? Where is the CRY?!

We as the body of Christ MUST be sensitive to the heart of God, loving what He loves and hating what He hates. In Ezekiel 9 those who were troubled by the ungodliness going on in God’s house, those who cried about it, who lamented over it, who hurt over it, they were sealed from destruction. Why? Because they took the time to seek and know God, loving God’s commands and hating the ways of the flesh. Those who knew of the abominations, who saw the evil happening in God’s temple, but who did not cry, who were indifferent, who pretended not to see, not to know, they were given over to destruction. Where are those who CRY?!

Our young people are being taken from the church to the world, before our eyes…WHERE IS THE CRY?!

Our marriage covenants are being broken, God hates divorce….WHERE IS THE CRY?!

Pastors are preacing and teaching false doctrine and we eat it…WHERE IS THE CRY?!

Fasting and prayer and studying God’s word is the ONLY way to have your eyes open to the truth, to know God’s heart, to understand the seriousness of the hour. According to Psalms 19, in order to see our sin, we must know and treasure God’s law, testimonies, statutes, commandment, fear of God, and God’s judgements. Then we will see our errors, and be cleansed from secret faults, and sin will not have dominion over us.

Isaiah 58

6Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

 7Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?

 8Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy reward.

 9Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;

 10And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noon day:

 11And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

 12And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.

 13If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:

 14Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

OCCUPY JESUS CHRIST(Behold My Servant) – Justice for the Nations

I was at an amazing prayer meeting the other day. I’m not sure if anything like this has ever happened before, but one of the top leaders in the COGIC denomination, one of the top leaders in the AOG denomination, and many pastors in the city of Detroit held a unified prayer meeting and started a 21-day fast. COGIC and AOG split racially (black & white) after Azuza Street, so the spiritual significance of the unity was amazing. The Prayer was for the poor, and all types of revival in Detroit.

But anyway, I just want to share a quick blog inspired by a 5 minute sermonette by Stuart Greaves on the Kingdom Justice Movement that is based not on political and social causes, but on Jesus Christ. True effective Justice only comes from God, and is centered on Jesus Christ. We are expounding on Isaiah 42:

1 Behold – [You have to BEHOLD Jesus Christ if You want Justice, or True judgement. This is the main thing, and the first and last priority.]

 my servant,– [Jesus is GOD’s servant, he proactively fulfills God’s every practical desire] 

whom I uphold – [GOD supports, upholds, undergirds, and sustains His servant] ;

mine elect, – [God’s servant has been chosen and endorsed by Him, he is confident in God’s decision to choose him]

in whom my soul delighteth – [God delights in Him, God has pleasure in His servant Jesus.] ;

I have put my spirit upon him: – [ God gave Jesus His power and His spirit to do great exploits]

he shall bring forth judgment  to the Gentiles. – [ Jesus is the only person qualified to bring judgement to the people of the earth ]

2 He shall not cry , nor lift up , nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.  – [ Jesus preached His message with boldness, but He didn’t strive, debate, or argue. ]

3 A bruised reed shall he not break , and the smoking flax shall he not quench – [ Jesus didn’t do much violence, He was gentle in the physical realm, but violent in the spiritual, through fasting, prayer, and preaching/speaking]

: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth. – [ Jesus’s social and political causes are for truth to reign, not for strife and gain.]

4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged , till he have set judgment in the earth: – [ Jesus is not in a rush. He wasn’t rushing then, and He’s not now. He knows He won’t fail, and He won’t be discouraged. Its just a matter of time until He executes His decision on every cause, on every case, and every injustice in the earth.]

 and the isles shall wait for his law. – [ Every group of people down to each island community will end up looking to Jesus Christ Himself, to find out what He has to say about their society and community.]

BEHOLD GOD’S SERVANT!

Justice comes from beholding Jesus Christ. So if you have a heart for justice in the earth, or you need justice in your own life… look for and expect Jesus Christ.

And if you too are a servant of God, laboring for justice, then BEHOLD how the Chief Servant, Jesus Christ does his justice work. Justice only comes from Beholding Jesus Christ. If you are chosen, elected, supported, empowered, and delighted in by God thru Jesus Christ, then you will have the confidence, patience, and endurance to wait on God, work for God, and receive His judgement based on Truth. If you want to OCCUPY anything… make sure you are Occupying Jesus Christ! He has all true Justice and Judgement under His Authority.

We Are Responsible for Abortion

We spoke a message at the last iRepent event at Friday, about repenting from the pragmatism of Judas. Pragmatism is a philosophy that severely overdoes practical thinking – to the point of betraying God to do what we think will work. Judas’s pragmatism was the driving force of his betrayal of Christ. He wanted to get his will done his way. He wanted control. He ended up being instrumental in God’s will, but on the wrong side. “Woe to him by whom he is betrayed.”

22 And truly the Son of man goeth , as it was determined : but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed !

How do we Judas-Kiss Jesus?

We betray God’s purpose for our single lives when we live for ourselves. When we date around and do frivolous things that don’t produce disciples for Christ, or Godly marriages for the Kingdom of God. (1 Cor 7)

We betray God’s purpose for our families when we decide not to allow God to produce the Godly seed that He desires. We believe the lie that children are a loss, when God says they are a blessing, a profit. (Malach 2, Ps 127)

We betray God’s purpose for our ministries when we change our message to fit the people, instead of changing the people to fit the message, the Word of God. (Luke 3)

We betray God’s purpose for the Church when we live in isolation instead of breaking of bread and fellowship, doing life together. (Act 2)

We betray the purpose of God’s House when we allow it to be a place where thieves can hide, instead of a House of Prayer for every ethnic group. (John 2)

God still gets His purpose done anyway, but woe to the person used by satan to betray the will of God. God has enough mercy to cover us, but only if we turn our hearts completely back to Him.

So, how are we responsible for abortion? The Church has all authority in heaven and on earth. If its bound, it’s because we bound it. If its loose, it’s because we loosed it.

How did abortion get loosed by the Church?

Lookup The Negro Project and Margaret Sanger. When satan planted Darwinism and Eugenics into society, and used white racism and fear to try and destroy the black race, where did he send his messenger? To the Church. Margaret Sanger went to the Churches with a message of pragmatism, family planning, and birth control. She convinced black pastors that family planning was the way to prosperity and respect. They loosed it in the Church, and a few decades later, abortion was legalized in the government.

It was the Judas in us that is responsible for abortion. We betrayed God’s purpose for our families out of fear. Instead of God’s plan, and God’s control, we were duped into accepting our own planning and our own control. Satan got an inch (family planning and birth control) in the Church, and through our authority, he took a mile (legalized abortion) in the culture. This lie is so pervasive that, even now, we think God is going to give us too many children if we don’t prevent Him. God knows exactly how many children we need and how to provide for them. Several families in the bible only had 2, or 1 child. Some had 15. Each one is a profit, not a loss.

How much witty invention and financial provision will God release to those committed to His planning and under His control? The Duggars have 19 children, and have plenty of resources and businesses, 0 debt, plus they make nearly million dollars every season while the world watches them glorify God! Im not saying that everyone is called to be like Jim Bob or Michelle Duggar; but we must be open to giving God control. Us and the children the Lord has given us are for signs and wonders to the earth Isaiah 8:18. The disciples got the riches of the Holy Ghost. Judas got nothing.

We must repent for being responsible for allowing and loosing the mentality that is the seedbed of abortion. Let us never betray God’s purposes! It’s a waste of time to blame the government when all the responsiblity and authority has been given to us. Lord we turn our hearts back to you!

Give All You Have | Countdown to The Call Detroit 11-11-11: Day 30 –

Give All You Have

41 And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much. 42 And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. 43 And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in , than all they which have cast into the treasury: 44 For all they did cast in of their abundance ; but she *of her want did cast in all that she had , even all her living.  Mark 12

Jesus contrasted the giving of the rich to a poor widow who cast all she had into the treasury. Rich people think they are doing God a favor when they tip Him big. But God sees from a different perspective. He sees those who give out of their lack. He sees and has more respect for those that give their whole lives for the purpose of God.

God doesn’t see like man sees. In very contrast, God actually despises the things that men look up too. What is highly esteemed and respected in the eyes of men is actually an abomination to God.

13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. 14 And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him. 15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.  Luke 16

In contrast, Judas, (the Betrayer) was one who despised the extreme giving of worship.  He masked it by saying it was for the poor, but really it was because he was a thief with a wicked heart. He was all about the money, he wanted to see it all and manage it. But He never submitted Himself to the purposes of the Cross. He was wrapped up in His own intelligence and ability, and ended up betraying the true purpose of God.

3 Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard , very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment. 4 Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, which should betray him, 5 Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor? 6 This he said , not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein . John 12

This is an encouragement to those of you who are believing for Jesus Christ to break into the Church of your city. Give all you have in prayer and fasting and worship. Promote the pure truth of God’s Word with all you have. Don’t worry that you don’t have a million bucks to donate. Just give your life. Jesus sees the real Givers. He knows the difference between the real givers and the Judases. Give All You Have!

Returning a Pure Language | Countdown to The Call Detroit 11-11-11: Day 31 –

Returning A Pure Language

8 Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.

9 For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent. 10 From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia my suppliants, even the daughter of my dispersed , shall bring mine offering.

Zephaniah 3

I just love this scripture… I remember the first time I heard about it when I was first learning about the Tabernacle of David and doctrine on corporate unified prayer. Then recently I learned even more about it with The Call.

The context is the last days when the Lord Jesus Christ is coming to rule. There are several layers of interpretation to both of these scriptures.

This speaks of the day when the Lord comes back in judgement upon all nations. He will gather them all to judge them.

Then He will return to the people a pure language, so that everyone can pray on one accord, with one consent, shoulder to shoulder. This shows the importance of unity in prayer to God. Calling upon the name of the LORD is prayer. Serving Him is worship. Jesus Christ wants unity of all people in prayer and in worship.

This is also the reversal of what God did at the Tower of Babel. Notice He said that He would return to the people a pure language. In Genesis 11 God confused all of the languages of the people so that they could be split up. They wanted to build a tower to reach heaven, or access the supernatural, without God. God confused them so they would not have unity and become one in purpose. Then they split up and became separate nations because they could no longer understand each other.

God is going to “return” that pure language to the people, after He judges all the nations.

One way we can preview this prophesy and have unity in prayer is by praying in the Spirit. No matter what country you are from, or what language you speak, speaking in tongues sounds similar! In Acts they spoke in tongues, and people from every nation heard them in their own language. The same thing happened at Azuza Street in the early 1900’s. God is returning a pure language to His people!

From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia, His suppliants, even the dispersed ones shall bring His offering. Suppliants mean worshippers. God is bringing Africans to be His worshippers. People beyond Ethiopia, and those dispersed abroad, the whole African “diaspora” (dispersed). They will bring an offering to the true God.

We encourage those among the African diaspora to fulfill this prophecy even now. Begin to lead your community in public worship. Bring the true God, (Yahweh and His son Yeshua) an offering. Lead the nations in worship and in unified prayer with one consent, with a pure language.

Worshippers should be undefiled and pure in their language. Don’t be afraid to sing the scriptures and interpret the scriptures with your songs. Reach to heaven and find His pure language for your songs and your prayers.

Anointing of Motherhood Contending with the spirit of Abortion | Countdown to The Call Detroit 11-11-11: Day 32 –

I am so excited about the great prayer warriors seen and unseen that God has interceding for the ending of abortion. I thank God for Lou Engle for raising awareness in the church about the the abortion agenda in America.

As I sat praying at the house of prayer, the Lord broke through to my spirit and revealed to me that the church must receive an anointing for motherhood and fatherhood to contend against the spirit of abortion. We cannot pray for God to end abortion in America, while Christian couples continually reject children via contraception. If the word of God says children are a blessing (Psalms 127) and that one of the purposes of marriage is because God seeks godly seed (Malachi 2); yet we as Christians reject those blessings, we are being DISOBEDIENT to God’s COMMAND to be fruitful and multiply. DISOBEDIENCE is as the sin of WITCHCRAFT (1 Sam. 15:23)

In order to take authority over the issue of abortion we have to obey and receive GOD’S word in this area, and let our minds be renewed about the purpose of children and family. We cannot condemn the world of aborting babies, then go in the bathroom and swallow birth control pills. We have created the term “family planning” which sounds nice, but what is birth control? Attempting to control the birth of children (when, how many, how far between)…but wait, isn’t that God’s job?  I can testify that raising small children is one of the most difficult things to do. And young parents need the help, support and guidance of the elders as the bible states. Older women truly teaching younger women would help relieve a lot of the stress and pressure that make Christians not want to have many children (but that is another topic). However, if we return to the biblical view of the purpose of children, it would dramatically change our view and we would find that we have the grace to raise however many children the Lord gives us, whether biological, adopted, or foster.

Satan cannot create, so His job is to kill, steal and destroy (John 10:10). But God comes to bring LIFE! Part of God entering into our marriages is giving Him the right to come in and create LIFE from our unions, when He wants and however many times He wants! So we have to truly fight God’s way, with God’s word and God’s principles. LIFE beats death.

Men of God, if you want to see God’s kingdom come and God’s will be done, have children, raise them up to love God, fear God and keep His commandments. Do NOT fear the expense of children, it is a lie! God has been providing for people since the beginning of time, and He will not stop at your family! If you are taking up the charge to obey God, watch Him meet and exceed your needs. STEP out on faith if you want to see the world changed!

The Key to Economic Development in Detroit

10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. Proverbs 9

  4. wisdom, prudence (in religious affairs)

12 I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions. 13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate . Proverbs 8

The fear of the Lord is to hate evil. Hating evil gives you wisdom.

Wisdom is skill and creativity in problem solving.

Wisdom with prudence finds out knowledge of witty inventions, and new creativity.

The key to Detroit’s economic development is the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom. We need to have people who are afraid of God’s judgements so that they will do what’s right instead of do what’s wrong. We need people who don’t want to hurt people or harm God’s earth, because those people will get wisdom to create products that will benefit the community, not harm it.

Anything less is just a scam. Most of the foolish recent economic developments are not based in the fear of the Lord, or wisdom, so they end up causing destruction. We don’t need an economy based on alcohol, bars, pharmakeia, drugs, and witchcraft. We don’t need an economy based on casinos and lotteries, and scamming the poor. We don’t need an economy based on wicked music that worships idols. We don’t need cut-throat babylon businessmen and lawyers who make their money by stealing, lying, and conniving – whether it be legal or illegal. We don’t need businessmen that are psychopaths, justifying their desires, externalizing the consequences, and not caring who they hurt on the way. We don’t need economic developments in slavery, usury, fraud, ponzi schemes, or deceit.

We need real inventors with real wisdom. But as long as we don’t fear the Lord, we will lack wisdom, and there will be a continued downward spiral in the economy. Yeah some wicked men might get rich, but they will find out soon that they lost their soul because they abused the poor. But those that fear the Lord will always increase in wisdom, and they will come out on top in the end. They will solve problems with prudence and get new witty inventions based on creativity from the Creator.

Let’s pray for the FEAR OF THE LORD to spread like wildfire across our City. Let’s pray that men would begin to fear God’s judgements, and adjust their lives immediately, every day. Let’s pray for a conviction on the preaching of the Word that would make people tremble because they realize that the Word of God is not just a collection of practical suggestions, but the very sword of God that will hurt them if they are on the wrong side of it. If we fear and respect and reverence God, He will come closer to us, and we will find His mercy and love. Then we will see lasting economic development.

Apostasy – The Roots of Divorce in the Church

God said let no man separate what God put together. God is witness with us and our wives, because of the covenant promises we make before Him. God hates divorce.

Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously : yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant. 15 And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth. 16 For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away : for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously Malachi 2 

So why is divorce so common in the church? I learned something yesterday that blew my mind. Just as we learned about Jezebel, and how adultery and fornication is spiritual, as well as natural. “First the Natural, then the Spiritual. (1 Corinthians 15)” Well look at the definitionof apostasy.

Apostasia: a falling away, defection, apostasy.

“The Greek word Apostosia comes from the root word
Apostasion meaning “divorce.”  Those who
fall into apostasy are divorced from God.”

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed , the son of perdition; 2 Thessalonians 2

So “falling away” from God (apostasy) and “putting away” (divorce) are closely related.  So now we have an insight into why there is so much divorce in the Church. Because some of us have fallen away from God. The natural reflects the spiritual.

The mercy of the Lord endures forever, so believe me I’m not trying to condemn anyone who has ever had a divorce. I’m just trying to hear what God is saying and make a spiritual connection that will give us wisdom on the decisions we make. Could the root of divorce in the Church be false doctrine in the Church, and a falling away from God? If I’m contemplating divorce, is there false doctrine in my life that has caused me to fall away from God first? Is the rate of divorce in the Church evidence that we are in the middle of the great falling away already? If my spiritual leader is divorcing his wife, has he divorced God already too? Should I follow someone who has divorced God? Hmm… lets turn our wheels and keep our eyes open. Let’s keep our hearts married to God, then our marriages will be better and stronger for it.

Shot out to my wife Shereena! I love you – divorce was never and will never be an option:-) Because we love Jesus first!

Whiskey River?

God is amazing… So I’m meditating on the witchcraft thing that God showed me yesterday. Then all of the sudden I’m reading the newspaper (on my cellphone) in the morning and I come across an article about Detroit formerly being known the Paris of the Midwest. It was called that because it was founded by the French, it had great architecture, and it has a lot of trees lining the streets. But one of the most interesting bits of info things in it was the fact that during the prohibition the Detroit River was known as “Whiskey River,” because 85% of the illegal alcohol in America was smuggled in through the Detroit River. Wow. There’s the root of the power of pharmakeia in our city for you right there. But that’s coming down in the authority of Jesus. Another tidbit in the article was that Detroit used to be known as the City of Churches.

Its so interesting, here we are praying through the history of Detroit, and the next morning here is this article bringing out more info on the history of Detroit. Then a few minutes later I got an email forward me another article about Detroit that had been published a few days earlier. It’s called “Confronting Metro Detroit’s Race Issues key to Moving Past Them”. Which is exactly what we’ve been praying about. The Spirit speaks expressly!
