A fatherless or father-wounded generation finds it difficult to balance freedom with discipline.
If you don’t know the love of a father please receive the Love of your Father in Heaven!
It won’t always feel good, and you won’t always be comfortable, but it will make you BETTER!
It’s very necessary to get to the next level in our maturity as DISCIPLINED disciples of One Master with One Father in Heaven.
Many of us have been abused by Authority to the point where we see even Godly healthy authority as a threat to our freedom.
Don’t flee from the Lies of abuse & oppression to run to the Lies of lawlessness & disorder.
Rebellion seems like freedom until your REAL enemy shows up!
God can protect you when you submit to His Order.
He’s a Good Good Father! His Commandments are Not Grievous. They are for our PROTECTION.
Psalms 68:5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God IN HIS holy habitation.
– God uses good fathers and husbands to protect women and children from abusers and predators.
– God uses caring fathers and brothers to protect women from abusive men or husbands.
– God uses good shepherds (elders) and overseers to protect His people against spiritual wolves, false apostles, and abusive pastors.
– God uses righteous preachers to protect people against abusive governments by preaching the gospel and preaching God’s judgement.
– God uses governments to protect citizens against criminals and domestic abusers.
– God sends bigger governments to bring down oppressive governments.
God cares for everyone!
However, we cannot live in rebellion against the authorities that God Himself has sent to protect us, and then complain to God about not protecting us. The rebellious will dwell in a dry land.
Psalms 68:6 God setteth the solitary in FAMILIES: he bringeth OUT those which are BOUND with chains: but the REBELLIOUS dwell in a dry land.
Patriarchy Works.
The vast majority of Fathers PROTECT their daughters, and don’t MOLEST their daughters.
For those that do: the Police and the Preacher get involved. The government bears the sword to punish evildoers. The Preacher bears the sword of the Word of God to bring conviction and repentance.
But unfortunately, this world loves DISORDER so much it sees ORDER as a Dangerous Problem.
Then it cries & complains about the Results of DISORDER.
The TEN Commandments (Law of Liberty) WORKS. It is in perfect alignment with the Spirit of the LORD! (Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty).
Rebellion Fails. The rebellious will dwell in a dry land (Psalms 68:6).
Protection comes from Protectors. This is the ONLY solution!
You may have been hurt and abused in your past… but in order to experience true healing, deliverance manifest in your life you will need to need to forgive, be healed, and rebuild your TRUST in the Protection of your Father in Heaven:
- His TEN COMMANDMENTS
- Christ’s New Covenant Authority in the Gospel
- Manhood and Fatherhood – Family Leadership.
- Women and Children being cared for and protected under authority.
(See 1 Corinthians 11:3).
He is a FATHER TO THE FATHERLESS, and a DEFENDER OF WIDOWS.
BUT HE CAN ONLY FULLY DEFEND THOSE THAT ARE FULLY OBEDIENT TO HIM.
