Let Conscience & Scriptures Work Together

Don’t wait until judgement day to find out that the convictions your conscience learned how to ignore were in the Bible.

Oftentimes our conscience will guide us and tell us right & wrong. Oftentimes the Holy Spirit will speak to our conscience and show us the way to go.

But sometimes we let our iniquity that we’ve been shaped in determine our decisions.

Sometimes we ration away our conscience by letting our surroundings determine our decisions.

Sometimes we justify our bad decisions by saying that there were no clear instructions in Scripture against it.

But what if those instructions actually were in Scripture?

How would we know if our hearts weren’t soft enough to take heed in the first place?

Humility and soft-heartedness is key in dealing with God and with searching the Scriptures.

Some people don’t know the Scriptures but their conscience is soft and well developed:

Romans 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:

15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

Some people have the Truth of Scriptures but choose to harden their conscience to the point of insensitivity:

1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
