It’s very difficult to understand anything in the Scriptures if you don’t know what a Covenant is.
The culture of the Scriptures is heavy on integrity, being faithful to your word. We serve a God who does everything by speaking words. This whole earth and all of the heavens hang on His Word.
Words are very important. The integrity of our words is very important. The weight and faithfulness of our words is very important.
God is not going to adjust reality or rewrite the Scriptures to fit with the vain entertainment based culture of our day.
Even the very definition of MERCY is: Covenant Faithfulness. Without Covenant, there is NO LOVE. Love is DEFINED BY COVENANT.

A Covenant is not entered into by physical acts but by the words of your mouth. You are snared & taken by the Words of your Mouth.
Proverbs 6:1 My son, if thou be surety for thy friend, if thou hast stricken thy hand with a stranger,
2 Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.
A Covenant begins with the Words of our Mouths. Your word is your bond.
Numbers 30:2 If a man vow a vow unto the Lord, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.
In the old Covenant you had to keep all your oaths and pledges. It was so serious that people were killed over unecessary oaths and pledges and vows.
In the new Covenant Jesus told us to stop making oaths and pledges altogether! Just say yes or no. That’s how powerful our words are. Our mouths get us in the most trouble.
God saved the world via His Son Jesus because of His Love COVENANT with Man. God said “It was good.” So He Has to make us Good🙌🏾
Genesis 1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
This is why the Salvation of Jesus is given to humans, and also why Jesus will come to recreate the heavens and the earth. Jesus has a mission to carry out the Words of His Father who declared that “It was very good.”
As Scattered Israelites whose ancestors had the Abrahamic and Mosaic covenants with God, its EXTREMELY ignorant to ignore the power of covenants. We should have learned our lesson by now!
Our rebellion against Covenant has been used against us heavily. Our oppressors know this. Every empire knew who we were and knew that they had legal access to oppress us because of our violation of YAH’s covenant. They use covenant against us while we are ignorant of covenant.
Psalm 83:3 They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.
4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
5 For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:
6 The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;
7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;
8 Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.
That Scripture is just one small example of the secret covenants, agreements, and confederacies that unite to persecute and oppress our people.
The only thing stronger than a covenant, is a stronger Covenant – with God. Return to God, and He will return to you!

The highest covenants available to us are
1. Our EVERLASTING Creation Covenant with YAH: Love God, Love our Neighbor.
Work hard, keep Covenant Marriages, love our children, love others.
(Doing what you are physically designed to do, and doing what’s right in your human conscience).
2. Our New Covenant with His Son Jesus: Repent and Obey His Good News and Kingdom.
If we cannot keep our one-flesh marriage Covenants we have no hope and we are easily conquered. PERIOD!
Any society of people that teaches one-flesh marriage covenants will be successful in the earth simply because of the EVERLASTING COVENANT! PERIOD!
This is why Jesus reversed the definition of adultery back to Creation Law:
Mark 10:4 And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away.
5 And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.
6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.
7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;
8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.
9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
10 And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter.
11 And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.
12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.
Rejecting our marriage covenants, and men marrying multiple women, is the gateway that opens the natural progression of violence that DEFILES THE EARTH!
Isaiah 24:5 The EARTH also IS DEFILED under the inhabitants thereof; because they have TRANSGRESSED the LAWS, CHANGED the ORDINANCE, BROKEN the EVERLASTING COVENANT.
