Matthew 18:6
But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
It’s amazing to see that the root of some of the most evil people in the world is “church hurt” and abuse from men who were UNQUALIFIED to be spiritual leaders in the Body of Christ.
Examples:
Jay Z’s grandfather was a Pastor. He sexually abused JayZ’s mother. His mother is a lesbian. Jay Z has been blaspheming Jesus in his rap music since the 1990s.
Aleister Crowley (satan worshipper, warlock professional occultist and founder of the sexual revolution, satanic rock & roll, etc) was a Christian as a boy. His mother was evil towards him. She called him “the Beast” and “666” when he did wrong. She cursed him instead of praying for him. He tried his best to fulfill her curses and become the anti-Christ.
I’m sure you know countless other examples, from Roman Catholic priests to Bad family leadership from UnBiblical Pastors.
Is this an EXCUSE for sinners, unbelievers, and blasphemers? NO!
Everyone is accountable for their own actions. People must humble themselves to be healed, delivered, learn how to forgive, and also learn how to obey God instead of violate their own conscience.
BUT they also need to see a REAL representation of Jesus. Real SERVANTS, serving the real BODY of CHRIST, not following traditions of men instead of the Word of God.
