Political Liars will Impact your Character

Proverbs 29:12 If a ruler hearken to lies, all his servants are wicked.
If you are over a certain age, and you have been thru 3 election cycles and you still think a politician is going to solve your problems, I question your character.

At a certain point, when you choose to believe in a liar, you take on the same character of the liar.

Our Politics is IN Heaven

According to the authority of scripture, we are not to follow the example of those that are earthly minded in political matters. We are not to follow in the footsteps of the enemies of the cross who can be identified by their passion for earthly politics and temporary power. Why? Because our political affiliation is in heaven!

The word transliterated as “conversation” in Phillipians 3:20 is actually “politeuma”, and this is the Greek word for a political government.

This is the one and only time the word “politeuma” is used in the New Testament. The bible is clear that our political passion should be “IN”HEAVEN.

This means that anyone that tries to get your heart tied up into an earthly political authority is the enemy of the cross of Christ!

Philippians 3:18 For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:

19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
20 For our conversation [politics] is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
