Jesus Christ Ministry Techniques

Jesus Christ Ministry Techniques

Some of God’s people nowadays have really good intentions, but are mistakenly trying to be smarter than God. We’ve also got a lot of compromise & covetousness in “ministry”. We have people singing and preaching a compromised message. As a result of the compromised message they end up committing spiritual adultery with the world and practicing idolatry (See what Jesus said concerning Jezebel in Revelations 2).  If they don’t repent, Jesus will kill them with death and put her followers into great tribulation.

Let’s go back and take a look at Jesus’ first message.

After he officially started his ministry (at a wedding), the first public thing he did was overturn temple, rebuking false people in religious authority (John 2:14-15).

What was Jesus’ first message?

14: Now after that John was put in prison [the spirit of Ahab and Jezebel HATES the spirit of John the Baptist/Elijah], Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
15: And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Mark 1

We’ll talk more about John the Baptist later, but let’s look at the specifics of Jesus’ message:

1. Time is fulfilled – urgency, time awareness

2. Kingdom of God is here. – New level of Authority is here

3. Repent – turn, change your mind and ways… implying that what you are doing now is wrong

4. Believe good news – the Truth is good news and will leave you better off than you are now

Look at the record of His first message in the book of Matthew.

Matthew 1:17 From that time Jesus BEGAN to preach and to say Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

Did Jesus say, let me heal everybody first and build my relationships before I ease in the repentance message maybe sometime later? – NO.

Did Jesus try to attract as many people as possible with a positive and non-confrontational message, and then bring conviction and repentance into the picture afterwards? – NO.

Did Jesus try to get as many fans as possible first, or try to gain influence through relationships with influential sinners… and then bring the hard message of repentance in slowly after his platform was already set? – NO.

Jesus BEGAN His ministry message with repentance. Repentance means turn from what you are doing now, implying that what you are doing now is wrong. That brings a feeling of guilt and conviction.

Did Jesus have love? Yes.

Did Jesus show love to all? Yes.

Did Jesus heal people and cast out demons and do miracles? Yes.

Did Jesus meet peoples natural and physical and emotional needs? Yes.

Did Jesus hide the truth and save the hard message of repentance until later – after he had done everything else first? – NO.

Actually, it was reversed. Jesus did the healing and relationship-building after people knew what He stood for and pointedly preached. He preached repentance from sin and the Kingdom of God. Most of the people who came to Him were already humbled by the message of repentance.

People love to acknowledge that Jesus ate with sinners, but let’s also acknowledge that those sinners were repenting due to the message that Jesus was actually preaching. I’m not saying you have to clean yourself up before you come to Christ. I am saying there is a humility that you take when coming before God. There always has, and there always will. God only hangs with humble people (James 5, 1 Peter 5). That’s why preaching repentance is primary, if you really want people to get to God.

When Jesus preached, the only non-repentant people were the Pharisees… They had their own religious beliefs that prevented them from feeling the need to repent. They came to attack Jesus, and they got attacked back with Truth.

The people that fight the message of repentance (change towards God) and holiness – Gods purpose in everything – are normally the people who are comfortable in their very-own, personally invested, religious tradition.

Let’s look at the forerunner of Jesus – John the Baptist. This was the prophet called to introduce people to Jesus. What did he preach?

Repent!

…the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness.
3: And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins…Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?…
8: Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
9: And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
10: And the people asked him, saying, What shall we do then?
11: He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.
12: Then came also publicans to be baptized, and said unto him, Master, what shall we do?
13: And he said unto them, Exact no more than that which is appointed you.
14: And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, And what shall we do? And he said unto them, Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages.

Luke 3

He preached the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins (Cancer that is in remission is not active). He demanded proof and results of repentance. Not only was John direct, he was also specific and bossy!

Let’s go back to Jesus… Whom did Jesus get most of his initial disciples from? They were initially followers of John the Baptist, who had repented with John’s Baptism of Repentance. John the Baptist prepared many people to receive Jesus Christ by preaching repentance.

Most of the people that rejected John’s message also rejected Jesus. Most of the people that received John’s message also ended up receiving Jesus’ message; even way later after Jesus died & rose again (See Acts 19:3-5, Acts 18:25). So how people respond to the message of repentance is a clue to how they will eventually respond to Jesus.

Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t preach holiness or repentance, that all you can do is build relationships and hope that people will maybe sometime repent later. You don’t have to be mean, but you do have to be clear. Relationship evangelism is good, but you don’t have to hide holiness and repentance.

21: Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22: And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

Jude 1

On some have compassion… save some with fear and hatred. (Not hatred of the people, but hatred of sin).

Why did Jesus tell parables?

Let’s look at what Jesus Himself said about His parables:

10: And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
11: He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
12: For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
13: Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
14: And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
15: For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
16: But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

Matthew 13

34: All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:
35: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.
36: Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

Matthew 13

In other words: Jesus told parables to the hardhearted, spiritually dull, and rebellious who had already rejected His previous message of repentance.

If you only tell parables, you might as well just say “Go to Hell.”

After Jesus told parables to the masses, He then INTERPRETED parables to His DISCIPLES. Then when He died on the cross and rose from the dead, He told His disciples to go MAKE MORE DISCIPLES.

He did not tell them to go minister parables and make lots of money, but to go make more disciples. Those disciples would then pass on the CLEAR INTERPRETATION to make more disciples.

So the key to ministry with parables is not the parable, but it is the CLEAR INTERPRETATION. If you are telling parables without giving the CLEAR and Direct INTERPRETATION of the parable – you are not following Jesus Christ Ministry Techniques for making disciples.

I encourage you – don’t just speak the language of the world – bring them into the concepts of the Kingdom of God.

TO SUM IT UP

There’s nothing wrong with building relationships and having compassion. There’s also nothing wrong with harsh warnings and repentance preaching. Mature, Spirit-led Christians use BOTH, not just one or the other. When it comes to “ministry”, the greatest example is Jesus Christ the King.

Also, realize that there are many different personality types, ministry styles, gifts, and callings. Don’t let anyone squash yours. Be yourself and do what God has built you and instructs you to do. Above all, obey God.

7th Message: How to Sit With Jesus on His Throne!
A Message from Jesus to Lukewarm Christians that Don’t Change Anything
(Laodicean) Revelation 3:14-22

Jesus describes Himself:
1. THE AMEN- the So Be It.
Jesus is a PROMISE. Definite. Unshakeable. Unchangeable.
 2. Faithful and True Witness:
Jesus Unceasingly represents and DECLARES Without Hiding  the Truthful Reality of what is happening.
3. Beginning of the Creation of God:
Jesus is the Chief element over, and the reason for the Creation. All things were BY Him, THROUGH Him, and FOR Him.

Why did Jesus describe Himself in this way to this Laodicean group of Christians?
He did it because they weren’t changing anything. Jesus Changes things. He’s the AMEN: a promise, so circumstances adjust to Him. He’s a Faithful and True Witness who won’t keep silent on Truth. He originated the whole creation, He is the definition of change and movement and growth.

I KNOW, and am intimately acquainted with: your WORKS (enough to taste them). You are neither cold nor not. So, because you are lukewarm, I will spit you out of my mouth.

What do people feel when they drink cold drinks? They feel energy move and it changes their temperature.
What do people feel when they drink something hot? It moves energy and changes their temperature.

Jesus is saying that the WORKS of these Christians weren’t changing anything, they just fit in, they were accepted, the didn’t rock the boat, didn’t challenge anything that was going on, they didn’t cause any energy to be stirred up in their surroundings. They didn’t represent Jesus at all.

22: And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
Jude

Jesus wants us to change things that surround us- sometimes with compassion, making a difference in people’s lives – sometimes with fear and hatred of sin (warning people about consequences of disobedience to God). What Jesus does NOT want us to do is just fit in with the world, not saying anything or changing anything.

This group of Christians was lukewarm- they fit in perfectly, they didn’t change anything around Him. They didn’t represent Jesus as the AMEN (a certain promise), as a Faithful Witness (not afraid to speak the truth about what is going on), or as the Originator of Creation (the Root and Cause of all things).

Yet, they were “blessed and prosperous.” They obviously had increases in material wealth, and they bragged about it.

But Jesus looked at them with spiritual eyes: He called them poor (spiritually), wretched, miserable, blind, and naked (spiritually).

Jesus sees things VERY differently from the obvious physical appearance. Jesus always sees into the spiritual realm of all His people.

Jesus counsel: He uses things they can understand. He tells them to solve their spiritual problems with spiritual solutions.
1. BUY from me GOLD tried in the FIRE (1 Peter 1:7). FAITH that goes through tribulation is spiritual GOLD. “Don’t make it easy for yourself. Don’t run away from challenges and trials. Believe me for something harder than riches. Believe me in tough circumstances where you don’t fit in with everybody. Believe me for something that’s not easy, like changing your surroundings.
2. BUY from Me WHITE RAIMENT. White raiment is righteousness. Righteousness is given to us by our faith in Christ. But it is also righteous acts (Revelation 19:8). Stop fitting in with the world, do things right. Do righteous acts.
3. ANOINT EYES with EYESALVE, that you may see. Seek God for the anointing of the Holy Ghost to give you spiritual insight. (Ephesians 1:17). The reason you fit in is because you can’t see anything different. The reason you think you’re all good when you are really wretched, blind, miserable and naked, is because you CAN’T SEE spiritual things at all. Anoint your spiritual eyes to see spiritual realities. Everything is NOT all good. Things need to change around here!

As many as I LOVE… I rebuke and chasten, therefore be ZEALOUS and REPENT.

Jesus comforts us, telling us that the reason He rebukes us and chastens us is love for us. He tells us to Be Zealous. If you are used to fitting in, repent, change and be Zealous. Lukewarm Christians that don’t change the spiritual atmosphere or change anything might start making fun of you for being zealous, but JESUS wants you to be zealous! I’ll stick with Jesus.

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

The Invitation is open. Jesus is actively looking for people to eat with and be with. Jesus only likes people that change things in the spiritual atmosphere (He spits the lukewarm out of his mouth).

PROMISES to those that OVERCOME!:

“If you overcome lukewarmness, fitting in, and not changing anything, and you instead become ZEALOUS, with FAITH (spiritual money and spiritual riches), RIGHTOUSNESS (spiritual white clothing), and ANOINTED EYESALVE (spiritual eyesight):

Not only will you be a member of my kingdom in heaven, but I will let you sit with me on my throne…. Like I overcame, and am sitting with my Father in His throne.

YOU CAN SIT WITH JESUS ON HIS THRONE IF YOU OVERCOME LUKEWARMNESS! CHILLING WITH JESUS AND HELPING HIM RULE the UNIVERSE.

That will be awesome!

If you have spiritual ears, please pay attention and meditate these things!

4th Message:How to Rule the Nations and Governments!

A Message from Jesus to Excellent Christians Dealing with a Seducing Spirit of Compromise

(Thyatira) Revelation 2:18-29

Jesus describes Himself to this Church:

“He that says these things is:

1.The SON of GODI’m GOD, not just a man. I’m on another level, different, and separate. My ways and thoughts and agenda is different than man’s.

2.With EYES like FLAMES of FIRE… My eyes are active and full of energy. Flames don’t stand still; they are active, powerful, and energetic. That’s the way I see and look at my Church.

3.With FEET like fine BRASS… Brass is heavy and solid. Jesus is not going anywhere! I will stand my ground in my Church, unmoveable and steadfast. Anything that is against me will not push me out, I will push it out!

Jesus is intimately acquainted with and understands this group of Christians’:

1.Works – They had good works, which is the first thing Jesus looks at with His Churches.

2.Charity – They had Charity, which is the greatest thing, and bond of maturity and perfection.

3.Service – They served well.

4.Faith – They were strong in faith, which is precious to God. They weren’t weak in faith.

5.Patience – They also were patient and longsuffering.

6.Works – the last works are more than the first works.

So according to Jesus, this is a very good and excellent Church. Not only did they do good works, they were commended twice for their works, and the last was better than the first. So they were getting better and better! They “had it going on.”

PROBLEMS:

Even with all that excellence and good works, Jesus has a few things AGAINST this group of Christians because they ALLOW Jezebel, a false prophetess to teach and seduce HIS servants to:

1.Commit fornication

2.Eat food (harmless things) sacrificed to idols.

Jesus keeps having BEEF with the same issues: fornication & idolatry. Or, better yet: “allowing the teaching and promoting” of fornication & idolatry.

He hates the doctrine of Balaam which puts a stumbling block and tricks people into fornication & idolatry.

He hates the Nicolaitan doctrine that conquers and corrupts people into idolatry and fornication.

Now He hates the allowing of Jezebel to teach and seduces His servants into fornication and idolatry with the world.

(See 3 Main Doctrines that Jesus Hates).

Why does JESUS HATE fornication and idolatry so much? Why does He keep emphasizing these things? Fornication is sexual activity outside of marriage. Idolatry is spiritual adultery. Adultery is a sexual relationship outside of your marriage. Spiritually, it’s anything you put before your relationship with God. THIS IS A RELATIONSHIP ISSUE! What is your relationship with God?

Realize that Jesus’s greatest relationship with His Church is that of a Bridegroom to a Bride!

THE REAL ISSUE

If your fiance’ or betrothed spouse was having sex with someone else, how would you feel?

Well, that’s how fornication and spiritual adultery (idolatry) makes JESUS feel. Jesus loves you and He wants you exclusively. He doesn’t want to marry a prostitute/whore. He forgives prostitutes and spiritual whores like we were, then asks us to love Him exclusively.

Spiritually, Jesus wants us to be faithful to Him as a spouse, not “leaving our first love” (like the Ephesus Church in the 1st Message), or allowing fornication and adultery (like Pergamos in the 3rd Message, and like this Thyatira Church). It all comes back to JESUS’s PASSIONATE LOVE AND DESIRE FOR YOUR SOUL. He LIKES YOU!

Back to the 4th Message:

REPERCUSSIONS

“I gave her (Jezebel) space to repent of her fornication, but she wouldn’t.” God gives compromising teachers in the Church time, space and chances to turn around and do something different. Evidently this false prophetess is really rebellious.

1.“I will cast her into a bed, and those that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds.” Jesus will put Jezebel and other adulterers with her into much trouble. But he still is merciful and gives them time to change.

2.I will kill her children with death.” Children born by her will die. Those spiritual “babies” that the Church allows her to teach will be killed, by Jesus.

3.All the Churches will know that I am He who searches the reins (thoughts & purposes of the soul) and hearts, and I will reward everyone for their works.” This is where you see Jesus’ initial self-description come back. “When they see what I do to compromisers, all the Churches will know that my flaming fiery eyes can see everything inside their hearts, and that I don’t back down from MY purposes. You will reap what you sow.”

Jesus is a BOSS.

Jesus doesn’t just look at appearances… (whether you are in Church or not and how your life appears on the outside). He sees your heart! Be faithful to Him only!

AS FOR THE REST OF YOU:

To the rest of you who are NOT running with Jezebel, and aren’t teaching the compromising doctrine (which is from Satan)… You all just keep doing what you are doing until I come back. You all are doing very excellently – just keep up the good works!

PROMISES:

If you excellent Christians: ignore the seductions of Jezebel – who tries to preach & prophesy you into relationships with idols, false gods, and sexual activity outside of marriage… AND you keep up the good works until the END:

1.I will give you POWER OVER NATIONS, You will rule them with a rod of Iron and will break them like clay pots.”That means that when Jesus comes back to the earth, He will set you in Authority over a country, or a few countries & nations. You will rule them, and He will have you break down former the government systems and infrastructures… and they will have to SUBMIT to Jesus through YOU!

2.And I will give Him the MORNING STAR. You will get authority over a star that is like the sun. An abundance of light, power, and energy is in it.

To any excellent Christians with political ambitions: Jesus can give you Political power and Power over light & energy. All you have to do is be excellent, and overcome the compromising spirit of Jezebel.

If you have a spiritual ear to hear, please pay attention to the deeper meanings that the Spirit of God is trying to get across to many different groups of Christians.

We all know that only Jesus can solve the biggest problems of the world right now (economic, oil, energy, war). Men may try to get together and accomplish progress. Progress is always good – but as long as mankind is sinful by nature, man will mess things up. That’s why Jesus is coming soon, literally and physically! He can give you the authority over NATIONS. Do you want to be on Jesus’ International Dominion team? Overcome the spiritual compromises of Jezebel!

A Message from Jesus to the Dead Christians

– Get the Book that exposes and confronts OT Jezebel AND NT Jezebel (they operate very differently): Killing Idols For REVIVAL. So you can overcome and rule nations and governments with Jesus Christ.

3 Main Doctrines that Jesus Hates

3 Main Doctrines Jesus HATES in the 7 Final Messages to His Church.

(They are similar):

1. Doctrine of Balaam: Set Stumbling Blocks before God’s people so they can:

A. Eat food (harmless substance) that has been sacrificed to false gods.

B. Commit Fornication (spiritual and physical)

2. Doctrine of Nicolaitanes: Conquering & Corrupting God’s people so they can:

A. Commit Fornication (spiritual, physical)

B. Eat food (harmless substance) that has been sacrificed to false gods.

C. Nicolaitanes is linked closely with doctrine of Balaam. Nicolaitanes means “ to conquer laity.”

3. Doctrine of Jezebel: False Prophetess, False Teaching, Seduces Gods people to:

A. Commit Fornication (spiritual, physical)

B. Eat food (harmless substance) that has been sacrificed to false gods.

Notice that all of these doctrines that Jesus HATES have the same goal, but accomplish it different ways.

Balaam is trickery. “Just try it this way, it’s okay.”

Nicolaitanes is forceful. “Do it! Your ___ if you don’t. It’s okay.”

Jezebel is seduction. “It’ll be alright, it feels good… it’s okay.”

Fornication: Sexual pleasure & contact outside of marriage. Sexual pleasure is derived from chemicals that flow through your brain and bloodstream. It can be stimulated by sight, touch, and other senses. It is derived from your mind, and therefore… your mind is in control of it. Stop it. (Colossians 3:5).

Spiritually, it is allegiance to any Gods other than the true God (Isaiah 23:17, Ezekiel 16:26). It can also mean financial business agreements with sin involved.

Eating food sacrificed to idols. The Bible is clear that there are harmless things that would be otherwise okay, if they weren’t offered up to demons (1 Cor 8, 1 Cor. 10:28). In our culture it’s hard to understand this because we don’t live the same way they did. In their culture, the priests of the idol “god” of the city would promote feasts, games, festivals, etc. It would be like a party or concert or festival “sponsored by Diana”, or “Zeus.” It was kind of like corporate sponsorship today. “The Olympics, brought to you by ACME Inc.” They didn’t have TV, Movies, CDs, or Radio, or Internet. Festivals like this were the main entertainment and pastime of cultures surrounding the New Testament.

Any Christian knows that a piece of chicken is just a piece of chicken. God made it, God owns it. Eat it if you’re hungry! But all over the New Testament (Acts 15:20,29, 1 John 5:21), God instructs His people to display their love for Him by refusing to eat food that had been openly and knowingly offered to false gods. It’s not about the food, it’s about your love for your true God and love for your neighbor in not to causing them to stumble by seeing and following your example.

Although health is an entirely different subject, there are really no “demonic chicken dinners” or “idolatry pizza parlors” around anymore. Nowadays, the idols of entertainment take harmless music, and lace it with demonic deception – lyrically. They take harmless movies, and sacrifice them – via the script to the false gods of greed, fornication, false religions, relativism, atheism, violence, theft, homosexuality, etc…

Beware of those doctrines that Jesus HATES! They will try anyway they can to get you to accept fornication, idolatry, and compromise:

Balaamites will trick you into compromise.

Nicolaitanes will force and corrupt you into compromise.

Jezebellians will teach and seduce you into enjoying compromise.

Stick with Jesus, your first love!
