5 Simple Scriptural “Standing Prayers” for Your Covenant Marriage

Read these Scriptures aLoud and then Pray them aLoud NIGHT AND DAY for your Covenant Marriage.

1. Colossians 4:12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

“FATHER, In Jesus Name, I pray that my Covenant Spouse _____ may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.”

2. Zephaniah 3:4 Her prophets are light and treacherous persons: her priests have polluted the sanctuary, they have done violence to the law.

“FATHER, In Jesus Name, PLEASE DEFEND ME from the violence that false prophets and false pastors have done to the law of one-flesh covenant marriage.”

3. Malachi 2:16 For the Lord, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the Lord of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.

“FATHER, In Jesus Name PLEASE fight for me against any violence and treachery done against my covenant marriage.”

4. Luke 18:3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.

“FATHER, In Jesus Name, please Avenge me of my adversary.”

5. Ephesians 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

“FATHER, In Jesus Name help me to stand in fasting & prayers night & day – walking in purity and love, refusing to commit adultery while my original covenant spouse is alive.”

2 Public Events in a Marriage

Romans 7:2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

1 Corinthians 7:39 The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.

Revelation Knowledge: Adultery

Revelation Knowledge on Adultery

When people are homosexual we say: “Stop, repent, grace will help you.”

When people curse, we say: “Stop, repent, grace will help you.”

When people steal, rape children, live lazy, watch porn, or are racist, we say: “Stop, repent, grace will help you…”

Jesus said divorce + remarriage = adultery.

We say, “Jesus was just kidding lol, you can keep committing adultery, you dont have to stop, you dont have to repent, grace will help you to keep committing adultery with your new spouse, and the children won’t suffer at all spiritually!”

This is a lie. The biggest problem is that one or more of the children will suffer because of the violence you are doing to the original covenant before God.

Malachi 3:

14 Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the Lord hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.

15 And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.

16 For the Lord, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the Lord of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.

Abrahams children suffered.

Jacobs children suffered.

Davids children suffered.

Solomons children suffered.

A lot of children are cursed with hard hearts spiritually because their parents committed adultery – or divorced & remarried – for the hardness of their hearts! (Mark 10).

Not all children will suffer, but scriptures show that when adultery opens the door, somebody will suffer.

If divorced or separated, it’s best to stay single, serve the Lord, or be reconciled to your original spouse unless they physically pass away. This what Jesus and Paul taught, and this is what many have done and are doing now.

1 Cor 7:10 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:

11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

1 Cor 7:39 The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.

Romans 7:For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

Mark 10: 10 And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter.

11 And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. 12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

Jesus redefined adultery. He did this from the authority of Creation Law.

How do we repent from adultery without stopping the doing of it? If we claim to represent Jesus Kingdom, we must treat this like any other sin: stop doing it with His Grace.

This is also one of the biggest reasons to guard your eyes and your heart against lusting after strange women. Jesus redefined this as adultery of the heart.

If you commit adultery in your heart (or if you dress like a harlot, to purposefully attract adultery of the heart), who knows what doors this can open up towards the hearts of your children?

Hosea 4:1 …the Lord hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land. By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood… My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

With Some, Don’t Burn Bridges to Repentance – but with others, Burn Bridges Until Repentance

2 can’t walk together except they be agreed, but you should always give certain people an opportunity to repent. Never burn bridges to people of:

– different personalities (just communicate differently)
– different gits/callings (because you need them to be effective)
– ignorance (because you can always teach)
– someone who is your covenant spouse (because who knows, you may save your spouse 1 Cor 7:16)

But there are some people that need to have their bridges burned until they actually do repent. You DO need to burn bridges to people who are consistently operating in:

– rebellion/witchcraft against God’s commandments
– stubborness/idolatry against the Creator
– anger/envy which will destroy you
– only if this person is not your covenant spouse. (because who knows, you may save your spouse 1 Corinthians 7:16)
