HOW DO YOU KNOW THE BOOK OF ENOCH IS FALSE? #TOLD

Q:
Have you ever read the book of Enoch? If not, how do you know its false? The Ethiopian Church has the Book of Enoch it in its Bible since the days of the Early Church.
A:
I did some research on the book of Enoch. Turns out it an old “faked author” book (pseudigraphical, meaning the author is being impersonated) most likely written by a gnostic sect called the Essenes. That means that it was written between Malachi and John the Baptist, during the 400 year famine when YAHUAH was NOT speaking. The Apostle Paul spoke against it as a collection of Jewish fables (Titus 1:14).
Some pseudigraphical books came from the Romans. Some pseudigraphical books came from the Greeks. In this case, this pseudigraphical book Enoch came from a Jewish sect and was passed on to the early Ethiopian Church, which makes it appear to be more biblical and authentic. But there are several contradictions with Scripture and with the Holy Spirit that become obvious if you read it.
Why did the Ethiopian church accept it? Because the Ethiopian church was influenced by the Church at Alexandria in Egypt.
Alexandria in Egypt and Rome in Italy were the places where most of the false doctrines in the early church came from, because those cities were steeped in pagan mystery religions from the Egyptian and Roman empires. It was a difficult battle for Christian churches in those cities to stay pure, and when you trace most of the false doctrine in the Body of Christ, they go back to Rome and Alexandria.
Problems with Enoch:
Book of Enoch Gives a larger role to angels than the Scriptures do. Enoch glorifies angels
- Colossians 2:18 warns against this.
Book of Enoch says fallen angels taught us metalwork and plant work, and makeup.
- God made men intelligent enough to do this.
- Scripture attributes metalwork to a man named Tubalcain (Genesis 4:22) not an angel.
Book of Enoch teaches that angels have sex with women.
- Jesus said they don’t (Mark 12:25).
- Also Paul teaches there are different types of flesh that don’t mix (1 Corinthians 15:39).
- Sons of God with Daughters of men in Genesis 6 is clearly talking about humans producing violent, self-promoting, powerful, empire-building men. God punished the earth because of the sins of men, not of angels.
- Sons of God with Daughters of men also could mean that the line of Seth (righteous families) mixed with the line of Cain (wicked families). This tempted men into lots of sexual sin which produces fatherless and wounded children that become overly violent and aggressive.
The Book of Enoch gives responsibility for sin to angels instead of Man.
- This isn’t consistent with Scriptures. (Romans 5:12)
Giants can come from other places than angels. Giants can come from genetics. If not, how did Giants come back after all flesh was killed in the Flood?
- The Book of Enoch says that giants were over 300 Cubits tall.
- Scripture says Goliath was only 6 cubits (1 Samuel 17:4).
- A giant that’s 9-10 feet is genetically a human. A giant bigger than a mountain is a fantasy.
