One byproduct of simple obedience to God is that it exposes our inner iniquities of pride, vanity, envy, rebellion, and self-will.
One of the simplest ways to walk in humility is simply to obey God and let Him humble you in the process of your obedience.
Obey the Commandments of the Most High, Obey the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Obey the Commandments of Jesus Christ, obey the Ordinances of Jesus Christ, and Obey the leading of the Holy Spirit.
The Word of God will fill you with joy and set you apart at the same time.
There will be conflict with others as you press into humility through obedience.
Whatever God likes – keep doing, even if it makes you humble. Whatever the devil hates – keep doing, even if people with the devil in them don’t like it.
Allow God to remove those that are haughty from your presence, because He already removed them from His presence first.
Ezekiel 16:50 And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.
Isaiah 66:5 Hear the word of the Lord, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, Let the Lord be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.
Jeremiah 15:16 Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts.

2 Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.
3 Let Israel hope in the Lord from henceforth and for ever.
