A: Yes the KJV has some words that were mistranslated to maintain state control of the Body of Christ, because as a governmental ruler – King James was opposed to House Churches. Ecclesia was changed from “Congregation” (those that congregate/assemble) to “Church” (a religious building).

However the KJV is AMAZINGLY way more accurate than the Roman Catholic versions (based on the Codex Sinaiticus and Codex Vaticanus) because it was based on the Textus Receptus which was traced back to the original manuscripts (Majority Text) that were from the days of the Apostles.

We can trust the veracity of the Textus Receptus because it’s based on manuscripts that there were hundreds of copies of (Majority Text), and that were widely quoted in the days of the apostles and in the centuries immediately after the original Apostles and Paul.

So the KJV is actually one of the best English versions of the Scriptures And if you have any issues you can always use biblestudytools.com for their free Strongs Concordance. Or you can buy your own Strongs Concordance to check the original Greek and Hebrew
