If we understood that music was ministry we would understand that a Christian that samples secular music is like a pastor getting his message from the Sunday horoscope. Horoscopes can be pretty positive sometimes.
A Christian working with a secular label or artist is like a minister employed as a psychic during the week. Some psychics don’t cuss.
Your Kingdom determines your content. Your kingdom also determines your partnerships.
I don’t know about you but if my pastor did a voiceover for a restaurant commercial about food… I wouldn’t mind. If he did a voiceover for a porn hotline… that’s a problem.
Same thing with music… doing commercial music for an inanimate-object based businesses is cool.
Working for or with a Babylon-based label and doing so called “positive” content is NOT cool. Wrong kingdom.
