Can you Biblically break down the evidence of the Holy Spirit for me?

Several levels of evidence of the Holy Spirit

  1. Conviction: of sin, righteousness, and judgement

John 16

Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10 of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; 11 of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.

  1. Breathe of enlightenment and salvation, to see Jesus Christ as died & resurrected.

John 20

21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

  1. Gifts of edification manifesting.

Acts 19

He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.

And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism.

Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.

When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

  1. Singing spirit filled music in your heart

Ephesians 5

18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

A few points to ponder:

Conviction: When these artists or fake preachers talk about Jesus and being blessed but have no conviction of sin, you know they are false prophets just preaching based off their gift, not based on the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost first comes to convict the world of sin, righteousness and judgement. To believe on Jesus, to desire Jesus, and to sense the impending doom of this world system.

Enlightenment: Only God can reveal God to the Human spirit. Even though they walked with Jesus for 3 years, His disciples did not “get it.” They did not really understand what was going on, even though they knew the Scriptures. After Jesus died, resurrected, and appeared to them, Jesus still had to breathe on them to receive the Holy Spirit and be enlightened to the meaning of what Jesus had done.

Gifts: Tongues + interpretation = prophecy = edification. Edification is the key. If people can’t understand you, they are not being edified. One level of evidence of the Holy Spirit is Christ centered edification for others constantly pouring out of your spirit and through your mind and mouth.

Singing: Singing the Word of God is very important! Always pay attention to the song in your heart. It might be God! You can get demons with ungodly lyrics and music…and you can get a deeper infilling of God with Godly lyrics and music!

There are also several Baptisms (water, spirit, fire) that reflect these evidences… and they are also meant to reflect the Holy Spirit coming upon you on greater and greater levels.

Pretty much every good thing that God does in us, is done by the Holy Spirit. Since all of these different things are done by the Holy Spirit, it’s hard to tie down into a short list.

I think that all of these different works are various levels and layers of work that he does different areas of our soul. First we get the Holy Spirit in us. Then we get filled up with the Holy Spirit. Then we can get Him on us, like a robe or a cloak for a special purpose. All the while, in the meantime he is working inside of us on our heart and our mind and our spirit. And all the while we are being constantly refilled while we sing and worship God.

What’s your opinion about the idea of the Black Israelite as it relates to the “Invention” of the Jew  concept?

Well there are a lot of books written by Jewish people who will readily admit that they are not really the actual Scattered Tribes of Israel…

I have not read those books but I do know that Jesus talked about Jews that lie in Reveleation 2:9 and Revelations 3:9. Also, if you read Rev 11:8 you will see that Jerusalem of the last days is spiritually Sodom and Egypt, it’s not the holy land. So there is a lot of biblical truth to the fact that the people there now are not the real descendants of Jacob.

As a matter of fact in Jeremiah 30 and Ezekiel 37 it describes when God brings The true descendants of Jacob back to their land it will be peaceful afterwards, and it will be related to the return of Jesus, so that’s definitely not what’s going on now. It was actually the British Empire that created the current Jewish state as a ransom for the Jewish helping them win World War 1 (which they would have lost had the Jewish bankers allowed them). God uses Babylon to accomplish His purposes, but there’s a big difference between God bringing His people back to their land vs Man’s empire bringing people back to Israel.

I’ve taught a full series on this but yes there’s definitely biblical backing for so called black people being the actual scattered tribes of Israel. This doesn’t change the gospel at all, we are still meant to become one new man in Christ, whether Jew or Gentile. It’s only the blood of Jesus that  can make us truly the seed of Abraham, whether or not matter if our physical bloodline is or isn’t.

Confronting SIN versus confronting idols.

Confronting sin ultimately produces Conviction.

Confronting idols usually produces defensiveness until people realize that their idol is hiding a specific sin.

Idols mask sin so they get defended more viciously. But when you accurately point out sins the masses usually go silent.

Don’t Pick the Wrong Fight – Your Arms are Too Short to Box with GOD

Just because you feel conviction or heat from something that a preacher says, doesn’t mean that they said it with you in mind. Give the benefit of the doubt. Sometimes the Word is just the Word, and the Holy Spirit is just the Holy Spirit. Let God be God and be humble. Feeling Conviction is not a reason to pick a fight with someone or harden your heart.

If you hate someone because they preach and do right and you’ve done wrong, you’re a murderer like Cain. That’s why God said if you hate your brother you are a murderer (1 John 3:15). It’s the same spirit as Cain killing Abel. It’s identical to the original spirit of murder.

Even if a preacher does have you in mind, if you feel conviction the best response is to search your heart and change, not put up your dukes. Putting up your dukes is dangerous because your arms are too short to box with God.

Balaam beat that donkey’s butt but the Angel was about to beat Him with an invisible sword. Don’t pick the wrong fight. Even if the preacher is a donkey, if it’s the Word of God – don’t fight.

The reason Balaam was so ignorant is because he heard what God said, but he rejected Gods heart. Try to understand Gods heart, and be soft-hearted to the Word of God. (Numbers 22:22-27).

What’s the Difference Between Condemnation and Conviction??

What’s the difference between condemnation and conviction?

Condemnation tells you you are going to hell and/or you are worthless.

Conviction tells you that your sins could take you to hell, and the sin you have done is very dangerous; but that you are very valuable and if you repent and turn to the heart of God, He is rich in mercy and grace – He will cleanse you and give you the favor and power to do great, mighty, and awesome things in his holiness.

Condemnation is going to prison.

Conviction is hearing the sentence, agreeing with the sentence, agreeing to change, then agreeing to be set free and saying “thank you.”

Condemnation leaves you trapped.

Conviction boxes you in, but leaves you a way out – repentance!
