Q: Bro help me to understand the law versus faith. The law was made to establish a lifestyle decision between God and Satan . The law has wrath attached to it so God scratch off the law for Grace which requires faith. Grace has unlimited mercy promises with no wrath of punishment just forgiveness. Don’t get wrong grace isn’t meant to be taken for granted or give the right to sin. I hope you can make sense of this. I would like clarification of the law versus grace through faith…

A: Thanks for your question… That’s a lot but I’ll try to summarize it! First off, I try to rightly divide the Law.

There’s God’s eternal law of love which is found in the 10 commandments, which Jesus summarized as Love God with all Heart Soul Mind Strength, and Love your neighbor like yourself. If you study the 10 commandments, you’ll see that the 1st 5 teach us how to love God with all Heart Soul, Mind Strength, and the 2nd 5 sum up how to love our neighbor.

Then, because Israel rejected the Holy Spirit, there was hundreds of laws and statutes added “for transgression”.

In other words, God’s perfect law of liberty summarized His idea of what love is. The laws added for transgressions was meant for people that reject the Holy Spirit and need constant reminders of what love is.

They also need constant washings, and animal sacrifices to pay for their transgressions.

Then Yahusha (Jesus) stepped in to be the mediator and pay for all transgressions. He helped eliminate the need for the ceremonial and cultural law that was added for transgressions.

However The Most High’s law of liberty was never eliminated. With Jesus and the Holy Spirit we are actually empowered to walk in the perfect law of love and liberty, and exceed the righteousness of all the laws.

For example: there’s one law that tells you what to do, which is good. There’s another law that tells you the punishment you get when you commit the crime. Jesus steps in and pays for your crime, then gives you His Spirit.

When your crime is paid for, you still do good (the first law)… because now you have the grace, (power, favor) and the knowledge to do good. Now you do the Laws of Love by Faith.

Jesus is a Carpenter – a Builder

A carpenter knows that a house is constructed with beams. The beams hold a house together.

Motes are specks of wood like sawdust that you sweep up after the house is built.

Matthew 7:3-5

³ And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? ⁴ Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? ⁵ Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.

What did Jesus mean here?

If you are rebellious against the basic laws, commandments, and ordinances – the structural beams that build a family, a congregation, and the kingdom of God together – you don’t get to nitpick the perspectives of those who are being obedient and building or rebuilding families, congregations, and the kingdom of God on the laws, commandments, and ordinances of God.

Elijah is calling a nation back to the laws of YAHUAH – but you say he’s negative and mean. Do you know how many lives he’s saving?

John the Baptist is preparing the way for Jesus the Messiah, by calling every segment of society to repent – but you say his branding is not friendly enough. He could dress better? Maybe he would offend less people if he wore fancier clothes?

Paul the Apostle is bringing the gospel of the Kingdom to entire new languages and nations of people – but you say his speaking skills are weak. I guess he’s not talented enough to be a leader. Do you know how hard it is to lead people forward and how easy it is to lead them backwards?

Meanwhile our society is in rebellion against the very laws, commandments, and ordinances – the structural beams that keep families, congregations, and the kingdom of God together.

Manipulators will always have an excuse not to obey, repent, and change their lives in submission to God’s Commandments and Order.

Before you point out the SPECKS in your brother’s perspective, ask yourself these BEAM questions:

Do you guard and protect all 10 Commandments aka the Law of Liberty and Testimony of the Father?

Are you submissive to the order and authority in your marriage covenant family?

Are you still following youthful lusts of fame and fortune, or are you a faithful servant to your job or business?

Are you submissive to Jesus’ New Covenant Commandments and Ordinances in your Congregation?

Are you building what Jesus the Carpenter and Chief Apostle is building (Disciples, Families, and Congregations) or are you building your own conceits (special ideas)?

Did your brother get sawdust in his eye from trying to help you saw off the beams in your eyes?

Can you remove your beams… and then use your beams to help your brother finish building the house… and then help him sweep up & wash away the sawdust from his eye?

Does this mean that family and Assembly leaders can do or say whatever they want, however they want?

No – imperfect leaders definitely will be held accountable. They will be judged even more harshly because of their responsibility to guard the Commandments and set the Order that protects the weak and the innocent.

But it does mean that if you lack basic structural beams of obedience, order, and accountability in your life, you cannot see clearly yet.

Therefore you should not be trying to clean up the sawdust in someone else’s life.

Get your life in order first; then you will be able to see clearly, and then you can help your brother clean up the sawdust.

In Summary:

People that major on minors are usually failing on majors.

Get your Life in Order and learn to keep God’s Commandments before you criticize someone else’s communication skills, language, personality, or talent level.

Get your beams in place before you complain about sawdust from the work someone else is doing.

DO I HAVE TO SPEAK HEBREW TO BE SAVED?

Q: Hey! Hope all is well with you and the whole family! I was reading through your posts and those of some of your FB friends and per usual, I have a question. LOL Regarding the use of the name Jesus, I’m beginning to wonder if you have to use is Hebrew/Aramaic name to “actually” be saved. Is this true? If that’s the case, does that mean that people who call on the name Jesus, not Yashua, Yeshua, etc are not really saved or that people who only knew the name Jesus and died before learning the original names are in hell, because they didn’t use the specific name? In all this new reading and knowledge I get, I get so scared and discouraged that it’s never going to be enough, unless I learn ancient Hebrew and go back to their old ways of doing things. It’s so mentally and emotionally draining that I almost want to shy away from it all. Not from God, but from constantly learning all these new (to me) things that I seem to be doing wrong.

A: I know there’s a lot of knowledge out there. The Bible says that in the last days “knowledge shall increase…”

Also, every thing that is hidden shall be revealed (Luke 18). However, the bible also says that knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.

Although I do understand the Hebrew pronounciation and spelling of YHUH and Yahusha… I would never condemn or try to strangle anyone from saying or praising Jesus Christ or God the Father.

The name of the Most High and His son is good and reverential.

However, His “Name” really stands for His identity and His character. You have to know who He is and what He’s done to really know His “Name.”

There are many people who say Yahusha all day but don’t know His salvation in their soul nor are they filled with the Holy Ghost (Ruach Hachodesh in Hebrew). There’s many that call Him a Greek, or English, or Spanish title/pronunciation/transliteration, and God loves them just as much.

It was never about pronunciation as much as it is about repentance, faith, and obedience to His Commandments.

I’m sorry that you feel drained. It’s always good to hunger for knowledge, but just be careful with your sources.

Chew the meat, but spit out the bones! Also it it’s good to remember that when He died on the Tree (aka cross) His Name was written in Greek, Latin, and Hebrew (Luke 23:38).

The point is, He came, He died, He rose again for everyone in all languages.

“I’m Always Obeying Somebody.”

No matter how independent, intelligent, or rebellious you think you are – please remember this:

You are always within someone’s jurisdiction, doing what someone has instructed you to do – even if you don’t know who that is. You just have to figure out whose orders you are following.

This will help you to understand Spiritual Law, Sin, Faith, Covenants, Marks, Seals, Prophetic Scriptures, etc… The Scriptures were not written to a Western mindset. Its impossible to understand deep Scriptural concepts if you don’t understand Authority.

Q: Are you saying that all black people will be saved?

A: No when Paul says “All Israel shall be saved, he’s talking about an overall
awakening… not literally every soul. Like a general turning back to God in the last days.

Even now, we are considered the most religious and churchy people in the earth – but
we are also full of idolatry, rebellion, and sin. But as we figure out the Scriptures there
will be much more of our people that turn to Jesus FOR REAL not just church culture.

LIES, CURSED LIES, AND STATISTICS

Proverbs 14:15 The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going.

Theres a few ways the devil can deceive simple minded people that don’t like to read or do their own research.

1. LIES (regular hypocrites/entertainers lying to you).
2. CURSED LIES (when God appointed authority you trust lies to you).
3. STATISTICS (false science manipulates numbers to tell half of a story).

Our Creator has given us a way to establish truth. Two or Three true and faithful non-lying WITNESSES are needed to establish something to be true. 2 or 3 TRUE TESTIMONIES can establish truth.

Matthew 18:16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three WITNESSES every word may be established.

Just today alone I’ve talked to 3 people that had COVID-19 and are recovered from it. The one who recovered the fastest recovered after I dropped off a bag of groceries to them. In that bag of groceries from the health food store was:

2 organic Beets (bloodflow/iron/vitamin C)
2 organic Red Peppers (vitamin C/detox)
2 organic Garlic Bulbs (antiviral)
2 organic Ginger roots (detox/antimicrobial)
1 bottle of 4000iu vitamin D drops. (Immune system)
1 bottle of Calcium/Magnesium/Zinc gel capsules. (Oxygenation/Cellular regeneration)

I am not a doctor – these are just GROCERIES!

WHAT DAY IS THE SABBATH DAY?

Q: I have a serious question and asking it in a respectful way. Since we know that the days of the week were named after pagan gods and the months and days were switch around what scripture from the KJV do you use to confirm which day is the true Sabbath day?

As far as the Creation Sabbath, it’s the seventh day of the week.
Genesis 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

In order to go back to a biblical calendar you would have to count the days according to the moon. You are free to do that, however we are not required to change our calendar in the new covenant. See Galatians 4:9-11.
Galatians 4:9 But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?
10 Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.
11 I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.

It’s good to know the times and seasons and the Feasts that Yah gave Israel. However the most important Feasts were based in Jerusalem and for male Jews only (read Deuteronomy 16:5-6,16).

Plus Jesus knew the future and He understood that Jerusalem would be destroyed, and the Roman Empire would change times and laws make things hard to understand. However what is easy and intuitive for any nation to do is to honor the Creator on the 7th day of the week.

According to Jesus, the Creation Sabbath was made for MAN period. That means all man, mankind. That’s why the Creation Sabbath is a part of the 10 Commandments, and it’s on a much higher level than the weak and beggarly elements mentioned in Galatians 4:9-11. Any people in any nation can honor the Creator on the 7th day of the week. However it’s not a sin to know Gods calendar, to watch and pray, and to remember our history as a people.

Saints can worship any and every day of the week, meaning daily, but the problem with changing the Creation Sabbath (which is really about REST and HONOR of the YAH the CREATOR) is – why would you do it?

There would be no reason to change the Sabbath except rebellion or to bear false witness that Yah rested on the 1st day. But no He did not. He rested on the 7th day. The Creation Sabbath simply helps you become a true witness of the Creator. It’s really that simple.

We preach the gospel to witness for Yashuah. We protect Creation Sabbath to witness to Yahuah. The Father and Son are One, in complete agreement with each other. That’s why Jesus said He was Lord of the Sabbath. Therefore, the Sabbath is the Lord’s Day.

We can worship every day. In Acts they fellowshipped DAILY. However there is no record of the Disciples changing the Sabbath. Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath doesn’t mean He will lie about it. It means He is in charge of it. Jesus is not a liar. You can worship every day but the Sabbath is still going to be the 7th day of the week because of the History of Creation. He did it.

Did the Creator rest on the 7th day of the week or not? Yes, He did. Therefore, the 7th day of the week is the Sabbath.

AM I THIRSTY BECAUSE I WANT A HUSBAND?

Q: Many women are afraid of coming on too strong in the beginning of the courtship. They’re afraid of talking about marriage and children right away because they don’t want to run the guy off by seeming thirsty. Many women will date a guy for years and never bring up marriage or children because they are afraid it will run him off.

And I can understand this in secular dating relationships. However, I am interested in knowing what a brotherp] like you would say about this. you are someone who prepared for your wife in advance.

At what point should a godly woman be able to talk about the things she needs to know to determine whether they will complement one another in marriage? Of course, she doesn’t want to come off as desperate. So, how would you suggest she bring up the topics in a way that won’t make the guy thinks she is super desperate? What tips would you give a young unmarried believing woman about this whole topic?

A: A wife is a treasure, and a prize, and a reward for a godly man. If the man doesn’t deserve it, he doesn’t get it. If he doesn’t know the value of a wife, why should he have one?

First off a woman has to know her value. Her father should have instilled it in her by the way he took care of and valued her mother. However, we live in a fatherless generation, so women need to learn their value from reading the Scriptures, from prayer to their Father in heaven, and from Godly pure pastors and shepherds in the Body of Christ (not the snakes and wolves that hide in churches to deceive and prey on sinful women).

My wife always says that diamonds don’t jump in men’s pockets. If a woman knows that she is a treasure (a virtuous woman’s price is far above rubies), then she knows what she’s worth.

She’s not desperate, but game-playing men just don’t have access to her because she knows what she’s worth. If you OWN a Bugatti dealership, there’s certain discussions you don’t have, because you own cars that are worth a certain amount of money. A man comes into the Bugatti dealership with a statement of purpose, and the resources to carry it out.

If a man doesn’t want a family, he cannot approach a godly woman. What would be the purpose of him approaching her? For fun? To get to know her? To slick-talk her? For fornication? To figure out life? He needs to figure out what his purpose is and get a Word from God before he even approaches her.

To be honest, if the woman is the one who has to bring up the purpose and vision of the relationship, the relationship should be eliminated. That just proves the man is really not ready, and has no vision. He just wants to talk, have fun, fornicate… or he just doesn’t understand life yet.

And a godly woman has to be completely comfortable and content with being single until a real man that understands purpose, marriage, family, and life builds up the courage to come correctly and in the proper timing. She even has to be content with Christ as her Bridegroom if the right earthly man never comes to marry her at all.

A godly woman can have a Great Life serving God if she can control her flesh and understand that fornication, child-sacrifce (abortion), and adultery with married men (or divorced men whose original wives are still alive), are NOT options. These are the types of women that will raise a standard and change the world!

I always say that God will raise up men to the standard that holy women demand in prayer and live in purity. But there has to be a generation of women that will value serving God undistractedly way more than they value sex and relationships.

To be honest, covenant marriage and children are just as hard as being single! You can change the world for God without being married, or you can do it while being married.

What really matters in the kingdom of God is holiness and fruitfulness – not whether you can have sex or not. You can be fruitful in the kingdom by making disciples, OR children, OR both.

1 Corinthians 7: 34 There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.
35 And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.

CAN YOU HELP US GET MARRIED?

Q: Hey bro, do you have any videos or writings that would help unmarried believers who want to get married? Topics like, what to look for in a spouse, mistakes to avoid, etc. I remember waaay back in the day, when you used to DJ, I came to one of your home fellowships with my homegirl. Before we left, I told you she had a crush on you and asked if you were interested. You smiled and politely declined. I remember thinking to myself, “I bet this brother has an idea of the type of KINGDOM woman he wants and he’s not settling for less”… because my girl wasn’t walking in obedience to the Lord, and I was still immature in my faith. I sensed that you could discern that about us. And sure enough, you ended up choosing a virtuous woman of God. I am so encouraged by what you two are building. Your marriage and family are a blessing to all who are witnesses. Any courtship/marriage advice that you (and/or your beautiful wife) could offer would be very much appreciated. Not only am I starting to talk to my own children about this, but when I get the honor of speaking into the lives of other women of God, I want to be prepared with some Holy Spirit packed words of wisdom. A: Wow… Funny story!
But thank you for your encouragement! All glory goes to God. We are actually working on a book about it also, so perfect timing on your question! You are inspiring us to complete it sooner.

But yes I definitely had a vision for my wife from a time of fasting and prayer when I was 21. It wasn’t a specific vision based on looks but it included character, gifts that I needed to complement mine, relationship with God, and attractiveness.

So I had a vision written down and if you talk to my wife, she had the fear of the Lord and dreams that helped keep her focused.

My biggest advice would be:
– Have a written vision for your life and develop yourself in your purpose and calling before you think about dating anyone.
– Don’t date until you know its time to get married.
– Don’t get married until you are ready to have children.
– Get to know people in groups, fellowships, service, “side-by-side”.
– Don’t take a relationship face-to-face until you have a Word from God and confirmation.
– As a man, set a date for your marriage before you approach a woman. As a leader, you must begin with the end in mind.
– As a woman, never give your time or your body to a man that is not serious about a Covenant and Leading a family.
