Layers and Tones of REPENTANCE

Layers and Tones of REPENTANCE: Jesus preached Repentance to ALL – but his tone was always harsher to the oppressor than to the oppressed. He excoriated and embarrassed those who abused their religious and political and financial power. He even called them mean names sometimes. But to regular sinners He called them “sheep without shepherds,”and said: “Go and sin no more.”

Christians today have the opposite Spirit concerning repentance. Most are scared to preach repentance at all. They think grace means no confrontation with sin at all. The ones that do preach repentance are much quicker to assume the worst of those that are wounded, hurt, weak, and/or don’t know any better.

Unfortunately, most are scared to demand any accountability for the transgressions of those with the actual biblical knowledge & responsibility, or the actual governmental authority & finances to affect everyone. Honoring authority has never meant turning a blind eye to accountability.

Most are scared to confront the sins of the oppressor because they are rich and powerful. It’s so much easier to point out the sins of the weak who can’t buy lawyers or purchase manipulative media propaganda. A true prophetic voice does not turn a blind eye to the transgressions of the powerful and then throw stones at the weak and wounded.

Proverbs 31
8 Open thy mouth for the dumb
in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction.
9 Open thy mouth, judge righteously,
and plead the cause of the poor and needy.

Isaiah 11
2 and the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him,
the spirit of wisdom and understanding,
the spirit of counsel and might,
the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;
3 and shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord:
and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes,
neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
4 but with righteousness shall he judge the poor,
and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth:
and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth,
and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

Luke 4
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

Who is God Waiting For?

The church is waiting on the President to change and for sinners to change but we’re not looking for where we need to change.

If God only needed 10 righteous men to save Sodom and Gomorrah how many does he really need to save our communities and cities? And where are they?

We know how to receive prophets but do we know how to receive righteous men?

Matthew 10:41
He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.

2 Chronicles 16
9 For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him…

2 Chronicles 7
14 if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Lawlessness Comes From Authority without Accountability

Lawlessness is not when criminals commit crimes. That’s just a lawbreaker, and God already has a system in place for them to be punished.

Lawlessness comes when those who are appointed to keep the law become a law unto themselves and are no longer accountable to the law. Lawless authority is what creates lawlessness in a region. Then God can bring in bigger, or even foreign authorities to that region to establish law.

Understanding Gods Ways in the Kingdom of God

In order to walk in the fullness of the Kingdom of God you have to understand BOTH the everlasting power of the Blood Covenant in Christ, AND the immutable laws of Sowing and Reaping which is the key to the Kingdom. One without the other leaves you unbalanced and unable to fully walk with God.

Understanding Christ’s Blood Covenant helps you to understand love grace and mercy. Understanding the laws of Sowing and Reaping helps you understand love, repentance and obedience.

We will See Revival and the Next Great Awakening in America

Revival and the next Great Awakening will arrive when the believers and the “public speakers”, and the prayers, and the performers, and the “prophets” and the hearers become the DOERS.

Character Seeks Knowledge

Character trumps knowledge 10 times out of 10.

But character also seeks out knowledge, because character refuses to tell lies…

Proverbs 2
3 yes, if you cry out for knowledge,
and lift up your voice for understanding,
4 if you seek her as silver,
and search for her as for hidden treasures,
5 then you will understand the fear of the Lord,
and find the knowledge of God.

1 Corinthians 13
6 (Love) rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;

It’s not the wrong destroying America, it’s the ones pretending to be Right

It’s not the people that are wrong that are destroying America. It’s the people that are PRETENDING to be right. God doesn’t ask the wrong to do right in order to change things, He asks the right to actually be right and stop being hypocrites and pretenders! 2nd Chronicles 7:14″If MY people…”

God only needs a small percentage of consistent righteousness to abundantly bless a locality. IF you think our nation is being destroyed, ask yourself this: If all God needed was 10 righteous men to save Sodom and Gomorrah, how come he can’t find 10 in our churches?

Nationalism and Culturalism Make you Comically blind

The citizens that empowered and enabled Hitler were Christians that wanted to see the greatness of their “great nation” and “their people” more than they wanted to see the greatness of the gospel and the great name of Jesus.

Nationalism and culturalism always turns into the most tragic idolatry because they both make you comically blind.

Intercession is Necessary

Intercession is standing between Gods judgment and those whom the judgement is coming to… praying to God about delaying it, asking God to minimize it, pleading with people to avoid heading into it.

Ezekiel 22:30 ” And I sought for a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in the breach before me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none.”
