How to Facilitate Unity and Oneness in the Body of Christ

1 Corinthians 12

22 Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary: 23 and those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. 24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked: 25 that there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. 26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.

How to facilitate unity and oneness in the Body of Christ:

– bestow honor on those that do not seem to be strong, attractive or talented.
– realize that people that deserve honor the most often will not take it forcefully, so it should be given.
– realize that some parts have no need for abundant honor, since they already have it.
– resist the urge to separate people on anything other than their purpose and role. There should be no schism in the Body, one banner and one purpose.

God rewards those who do what’s right. He judges in the earth, not just in heaven.

An Analysis of Systemic Cultural Change

There are people that see the corruption of the current system and love it because they benefit from it. It’s naive to think that these people will allow change to happen from the inside.

Then, there are people that don’t see the corruption of the current system because they are blind. The blind lead the blind, and they are all headed towards the ditch.

Then again, there are people that see the corruption of the current system, but are immature and overzealous and do more harm than good trying to correct it. These jump from one ditch directly to the ditch on the other side of the road. They get nowhere.

Then, there are people that see the corruption of the current system, and are mature and know what to do, but refuse to do it because of fear or apathy. They also are the aforementioned naïve, thinking that things will just change from the inside.

Then, there are a few who see the corruption of the current system, are mature enough to know what to do, knowledgeable enough to know what corrections need to be made, and are not afraid to start small and get it done with boldness, faithfulness, and patience. These people create change. They also inspire systemic change that appears to be coming “from within” but is really a response to being provoked from without as a response to either competition or new leadership.

Will we join with the performers and actors (hypocrites) or the ministers and servants?

IF JESUS ATE WITH SINNERS THEN JOHN THE BAPTIST WAS DEMONIZED

Do you realize that the same people that said Jesus ate with sinners also said that John the Baptist was demonic?

Matthew 11:18 For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil.
19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.

Do you realize that the same people that said Jesus ate with sinners also said that John the Baptist was demonic?

So if we use “Jesus ate with sinners” as doctrine, we also have to teach that John the Baptist was demonic. In reality Jesus ate with those “sinners” that were repentant, and John the Baptist was filled with the spirit and power of Elijah.

No wonder the western church is so backwards and upside down right now… We take our doctrinal cues from the Pharisees, who were the enemies of Christ. We don’t understand the Scriptures because we are so busy rehearsing clichés.

We can’t follow Jesus’ commandments or prepare the way like John the Baptist because we actually believe what the Pharisees said about them.

Jesus said that the doctrine of the Pharisees was hypocrisy, and the definition of a hypocrite is an actor in real life.

But today we love great acting and great performers just like the Pharisees were!

It’s time to prepare the way for the coming of the Lord and get back to the heart of God!

Amos 5:23 Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols. 24 But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.

Today’s false prophets love to say that “Jesus ate with sinners” without actually reading what was happening in the Scriptures.

Never listen to people that preach with catchy clever cliches instead of Reading Scripture Aloud, Exhorting you based on what was Read Out Loud, and connecting it to your Character and Lifestyle Actions (Sound Doctrine).
