Pride makes you reject the very person that God sent to help you, while you embrace the rebellion that keeps you in bondage.
Pride causes us to embrace the research and knowledge that puffs our head up while we reject the wisdom, counsel, and fear that keeps us lowly and balanced.
Humility and laying down your life is the first requirement of a disciple. If you cannot do that then are you really a disciple, let alone a Teacher?
Any man who defends himself from the simple truths of Scripture just to protect his other “alternative” interests is not a true Teacher but a Warlock, aka a Deceiver. #humilityismandatory
