There is NO balance between pride and humility.

There is NO balance between pride and humility. Its either/or. It’s a binary position, it’s either on or off, one or zero. You are either lowly or high-minded. PRIDE is the mother of iniquity. Whatever area you are prideful in is the area where Satan will enter into your mind and try destroy your life through iniquity.

Excellence or PRIDE?

Biblically, “excellence” is having an abundance. Abundance of resources, abundance of spiritual power, abundance of talent, etc that allows you to “excel” or “go beyond”.

However, when you seek to exclude or exalt yourself over others that have less “abundance” than you do… It’s not the pursuit of “excellence,” it’s the promotion of “PRIDE” and superiority.

Read James 2 and Read Matthew 25:14-30 and 1 Timothy 6:17 and Romans 12:16

Pride Divides

Pride causes us not to want to associate with people of a different ethnicity, culture, or a lesser talent/beauty/intelligence level or economic status than us, because we feel they are “lower” than us… But God said in Romans 12 “Don’t be high minded, but condescend to men of low estate…”

Romans 12
16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.

Moses was the Meekest man on Earth for a Reason

Part of the reason Moses was the meekest man on earth was because he was completely familiar with everything the world system had to offer, but he totally rejected and despised it. So now God could meet with Him face to face…

Nowadays we claim to know God but we chase the worlds pride, fame and prestige, while we avoid the meekness of Moses and we avoid Gods true presence. Let’s get back to desiring God.

Comparing Black People and White People and Chinese People

Comparing yourself to others is a distraction that usually leads to an alternating mixture of pride and depression.

Comparing yourself to the Word of God keeps you focused and gives you hope in the fear of the Lord.

This applies to you, your family, your church, your “people”, your nationality, your nation, etc…

Never let the devil get you into a whirlwind of comparison. It’s not wise. Stay focused on the Word of God and produce fruit.

2 Corinthians 10
12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

Although I understand the need to help our people maximize our potential and express the fullness of what God has called us to be… I grow weary of hearing about “black people need to do this”, “white people need to do that”, “‘Merica needs to do this because the Chinese are doing that.”

When you look at the word of God, you see the problem AND you can see the solution. When you constantly compare yourself with others, you see the problem and you see OTHER problems. That only compounds the problems.

No one will ever maximize who they are created by God to be – or ever truly have unity with others – while they are too busy comparing themselves to others. We are all made in the image of God, so focus on Him and eventually you will learn to be like Him.

You Become Like What You Behold

2 Corinthians 3
18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

God Resists the Proud – So Why do We chase them?

People who are filled with pride will never understand the language of humility, because pride is the only language they understand.

Even God doesn’t waste His time trying to convert the proud, He resists them and then He humbles them when He’s ready.

God is actively RESISTING the Prideful, the Vain, the Cool, the Haughty, the Selfish, the Conceited. No matter how much love you show them – GOD IS RESISTING THEMπŸ˜₯

I Despise Intellectual Arguments, But I Love Obedience!

I despise intellectual arguments, because I hate intellectual pride, because it is disgusting and fruitless.

However, I love obedience and I love the Word of God, because I love God. Jesus is the Word of God.

I also love helping others love God and be obedient by teaching them how to obey Gods commandments… Because I want to be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

I do not need or seek popularity with the masses, because the broad road leads to destruction, and many find it. The narrow way leads to life, and few find it.
