HOW TO HUMBLE YOURSELF: What to Do When you Get Caught in a Prideful Lie

Once you figure out that you’ve made a mistake in pride, or in believing a lie… forget about your reputation!

Don’t let shame destroy you. Humility is your friend.

Proverbs 30:32 If thou hast done foolishly in LIFTING UP THYSELF, or if thou hast THOUGHT EVIL, LAY THINE HAND UPON THY MOUTH.

Job 40:3 Then Job answered the Lord, and said, 4 Behold, I AM VILE; what shall I answer thee? I WILL LAY MINE HAND UPON MY MOUTH. 5 Once have I spoken; but I will not answer: yea, twice; but I WILL PROCEED NO FURTHER.

What to Do When you get Caught in a Prideful Lie:

1. Close your mouth. Proceed no further in that direction.

2. Reverse your errors. Do and say the opposite of every lie you believed.

3. Down is the way up! Humble yourself first, THEN you will be exalted.

4. Use the WORDS of your MOUTH to confess your sins, apologize for your mistakes, and reconcile with God AND with humans that were exposed to your error.

Psalm 51:1 Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.

Daniel 9:9 To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;

Colossians 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

Forgiveness and Restoration is Always Available – with God and with Humans!

Time does NOT heal your Iniquities; TAKE WORDS WITH YOU

Apologize with real words if you want reconciliation with God.

Hosea 14: 1 O israel, return unto the Lord thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.

2 TAKE WITH YOUR WORDS, and turn to the Lord: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we RENDER THE CALVES OF OUR LIPS.

Joel 2:12 Therefore also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:

13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the Lord your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.

Time does NOT heal Broken Relationships; TAKE WORDS WITH YOU.

You can Forgive and Heal alone with God, but if you don’t want to REPEAT the same patterns in your life; you must also pursue reconciliation with people.

Apologize with real words if you want reconciliation with people.

Ephesians 4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

You Gotta Call Him!

For thou, Lord, art good, and READY TO FORGIVE; and plenteous in MERCY unto all them THAT CALL upon thee.
🙏🏾🙌🏾You gotta Call Him!🙌🏾🙏🏾

Yah is ready to forgive but if you don’t call Him how will He forgive you?

You gotta call Him! Pray! Cry out!

If you are ready to repent (stop sinning and keep His Commandments) then also get ready to Call Him!

He is Good, He is Merciful, and He will answer!

Open Wounds, Forgiveness, Vengeance, and the Demonic

JUDGEMENT IS COMING

We already know that Vengeance is YAH’S. We can TALK about God’s JUDGEMENT and demand REPENTANCE.

Psalms 37:30 The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment. 31 The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.

BUT FIRST ASK FOR HEALING FROM WOUNDS

We still need to be careful of those with BITTERNESS and HATRED, PROFANITY, and UNFORGIVENESS in their hearts. Those things are signs of the DEMONIC.

Proverbs 15:4 A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but PERVERSENESS therein is a breach in the spirit.

A breach (OPEN WOUND) in the spirit creates DEMONIC entryways and creates a PERVERSE tongue.

Forgiveness & Repentance sets you free from the sins that were done against you.

Bitterness & Rebellion keeps you bound to the sin and to the demons that came in.

When you choose FORGIVENESS you become FREE to do what’s right – NO MATTER WHO DID WHAT WRONG to you!🙏🏽❤🙌🏾

ASK FOR PURITY

This is why wounded and unhealed people cannot verbalize purity of heart and forgiveness while at the same time calling for justice and repentance.

They can’t fathom the coexistence of God’s kindness and His severity. Yes both can coexist when you are healthy and pure in spirit.

Ask your Father in Heaven for a Clean, Forgiving Heart and a Pure Spirit!

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall SEE GOD.

Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Romans 11:22 Behold therefore the GOODNESS and SEVERITY of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, IF YOU CONTINUE in his goodness: OTHERWISE You also SHALT BE CUT OFF.

FORGIVE OTHERS OF THEIR SINS

It’s good to REPENT of all you need to repent from… but if you don’t FORGIVE, you’re still bound:

Mark 11:25 And when ye STAND PRAYING, FORGIVE, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But IF YE DO NOT FORGIVE, NEITHER WILL YOUR FATHER WHICH IS IN HEAVEN FORGIVE YOUR TRESPASSES.

You don’t have to ignore Truth to forgive, you can acknowledge the facts and STILL FORGIVE. Forgiveness is logically accounted for by the Blood of Jesus!❤

YAH WILL MOVE QUICKLY

If we can PURIFY our hearts – that’s when YAH will move the FASTEST and the STRONGEST!

2 Chronicles 16:9 For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.

In order to walk in the fullness of the Kingdom of God you have to understand BOTH the everlasting power of the Blood Covenant in Christ, AND the immutable laws of Sowing and Reaping which is the key to the Kingdom. One without the other leaves you unbalanced and unable to fully walk with God.

Understanding Christ’s Blood Covenant helps you to understand love grace and mercy. Understanding the laws of Sowing and Reaping helps you understand love, repentance and obedience.

Forgiveness from Jesus is for your past, obedience to Jesus is for your future.

Your repentance from hearing the Words of Jesus is for right now.

What’s the key to transitioning from the past into a kingdom future? What do I do now to change the past into the future? The missing link for most people is:

Repentance:
1. Hearing the Word of God and turning your heart to His
2. Changing your mind and actions according to the Word of God.
3. Bringing results of change according to the word of God, aka the fruits of repentance.
