When the New Covenant Scriptures tell us not to argue about a certain topic, it doesn’t mean there is no correct answer to the topic.
It doesn’t mean that both sides are right.
It literally just means DON’T ARGUE OR JUDGE ANYONE about the topic.
This is simply a New Covenant application of THE WISDOM OF SOLOMON:
Solomon refused to judge two competing whores over a debate. He let them prove themselves out with their actions.
Solomon didn’t judge the whores, he judged their fruit!
When judgement time came, and the sword was about to fall, both whore’s hearts were completely revealed!
There’s no need to argue, debate or judge certain topics (food, holidays, natural law, sins not unto death) because time will always tell!
It doesn’t mean there’s no right or wrong answer, it just means you have to let people find out certain things for themselves, and that will depend on each individual’s hunger and thirst for righteousness and fear of God.
Everyone’s life will eventually show their heart, and God can help any of His servants change their hearts before they die.
SUMMARY: when Apostle Paul or Apostle John instructs us not to judge or debate a brother on a certain topic in Scripture, it doesn’t mean both sides are right.
It simply means wait on the wisdom of Solomon to work itself out. When the sword of judgement is ready to fall – all hearts will be revealed!
1 Corinthians 4:5
[5]Therefore JUDGE NOTHING BEFORE THE TIME, until the Lord come, who both will BRING TO LIGHT THE HIDDEN THINGS OF DARKNESS, and will MAKE MANIFEST THE COUNSELS OF THE HEARTS: and then shall every man have praise of God.
1 Corinthians 11:18-19
[18]For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be DIVISIONS AMONG YOU; and I partly believe it.
[19]For there must be also heresies among you, THAT THEY WHICH ARE APPROVED MAY BE MADE MANIFEST AMONG YOU.
1 John 5:16
[16]If any man SEE HIS BROTHER SIN a SIN WHICH IS NOT UNTO DEATH, he shall ask, and HE SHALL GIVE HIM LIFE for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
Colossians 2:16
[16]Let no man therefore JUDGE YOU in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
Romans 14:1,4
[1]Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to DOUBTFUL DISPUTATIONS.
[4]Who art thou that JUDGES ANOTHER MAN’S SERVANT? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for GOD IS ABLE TO MAKE HIM STAND.
Matthew 7:20-23
[20]Wherefore BY THEIR FRUITS YE SHALL KNOW THEM.
[21]Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that DOETH THE WILL OF MY FATHER WHICH IS IN HEAVEN.
[22]Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
[23]And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: DEPART FROM ME, ye that WORK INIQUITY.
