WHAT ABOUT ROMANS 14 AND THE SABBATH? #TOLD
TRUTH OVER LIES DAILY
Q:
How are (you) doing esosa, I’m trying to seek truth/clarity off keeping sabbath , I do believe in the sabbath and it is holy but the counter of some church would be Romans ch 14:5, how do you deal with romans 14 :5 concerning the sabbath?
A:
Here’s a couple of guidelines for Scripture Interpretation:
#1. UNITY of the GodHead: Agreement between Scripture is the primary way to interpret Scripture. Anytime one Scripture is used to change the whole bible, you can be sure that particular Scripture is being twisted.
Anytime you can’t explain one Scripture using ANOTHER Scripture, you don’t understand it yet!
#2 Apostle Paul’s writings are hard to be understood and can be twisted by people who don’t understand guideline #1.
Some people call Paul a false Apostle because they don’t understand how to interpret him using guideline #1. They twist Paul’s writings to the left, and despise him.
Others elevate Paul’s writing above the words of Jesus and above the writings of the other Apostles and Prophets because they don’t understand how to interpret him using guideline #1. They twist Paul’s writings to the right, elevating Paul to the point of idolatry.
Those with the Holy Ghost, and Integrity in the Scriptures will use Scripture to interpret Scripture. This means that Paul’s doctrine is the exact same thing as every other prophet, apostle, as well as completely in line with the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ.
#3 Another guideline for interpreting Scripture is understanding context. Who was Paul writing to and what was happening?
In Romans Paul was addressing a conflict between Gentile Disciples and Hebrew disciples in the city of Rome. They were worshipping together as an Ecclesia, but drama between Hebrews and Grecians (Black & White, Negros and Europeans) raised up because Emperor Claudius expelled the Jews from Rome.
“The process of corrupting the gospel of the kingdom of JESUS and turning it into the Romanist Church actually started in the Roman Assembly when Emperor Claudius had expelled all the Yehudim from Rome. [ Acts 18:2 And found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome:)] and came unto them.
When the Jews were expelled, the Europeans in the Roman Congregation began to “feel themselves” as if they had replaced the Jews in God’s eyes.
Later when Judean Believers came back to Rome, Paul actually had to write the whole book of Romans to bring balance back to the Roman Congregations understanding of the gospel. But ultimately the seeds for the perversion of the gospel was planted in Rome. Eventually it turned into Christian paganism via the Roman Catholic church and the denominations that sprang forth out of it.”

So Apostle Paul was basically trying to bring back balance between Black (Hebrew) Christians and White (Grecians) Christians in the Roman Ecclesia.
He was trying to establish unity and understanding.
Romans 14:1 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.
The purpose of the Scripture is to encourage them to be strong in faith, not full of doubt and arguing among themselves about unclean foods and holy days.
This chapter was written to stop arguments.
It wasn’t written to change the Commandments of God!
It wasn’t written to make us eat poisonous foods!
It was written to stop ARGUMENTS!
Using Principle #1, is there another Scripture we can see that uses this same principle?
Yes
1 John 5:17
If you are someone doing a sin that doesn’t lead to death, pray for them.
This Scripture is meant to stop ARGUMENTS! If someone Sinning against natural law, just pray for them and let them deal with the results.
1 Cor 11:18,19
This Scripture is meant to stop ARGUMENTS! If someone is a heretic in your church, rebuke them twice, then let them go do what they want and let God prove who is right. Separate from them The truth will show up in the end. (Titus 3:10-11)
This doesn’t mean that everyone is right, it means to stop arguing about it!
Romans 14:5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.
8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.
9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
If I have a brother in Christ that is deceived, I can warn him, but I cannot judge him. Only God can judge him!
Does this mean his deception is right?
NO IT DOESN’T. God will judge him for it.
If I have a brother in Christ who is lazy or gluttonous for unclean food, and he lives in poverty or dies of heart disease, do I judge him? No, he’s judging himself.
I help him all I can but I cannot put him in heaven or hell! All I can do is pray for him and love him!
Does this mean lust for unclean food is right?
NO IT DOESN’T. It just means I can’t judge him for it. Natural law will judge him. God is not sending gentiles to hell for eating foods that they didn’t know were poisonous.
Its nothing to ARGUE about.
Example: do people die and get injured from vaccines? Yes.
Do we warn people? Yes.
Do we argue about it? No.
If you don’t esteem research and knowledge about these things, I don’t need to argue with you!
Are you going to hell if you die from taking a poisonous vaccine? No.
It’s on you! If you esteem it unclean, or clean, it’s on you! Whatever you do, trust in the Lord while your doing it. If you live or die, trust in the Lord!
If you DO know what is going on, and you disobey truth, IT IS SIN!
But we’re STILL not going to argue about it!
Concerning the Sabbath:
Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath. PAUL’S WRITINGS NEVER CHANGED THAT.
The Antichrist is very clear in Scripture as a blasphemous religious system that changes the Commandments of God. PAUL’S WRITINGS DIDN’T CHANGE THAT FROM HAPPENING.
As a matter of fact, Paul’s writings actually warned the churches in advance about the man of sin that was going to be revealed soon!
Also, Paul was very clear AGAINST idolatry, just as all the other Apostles were. (Acts 15:20-21, 1 Corinthians 10:20, 1 John 5:21).
In summary in Romans 14 Paul is addressing the BEGINNING of the conflict between the Scriptures and the antichrist church in Rome.
He was addressing the BEGINNING of this conflict, way before it TURNED INTO IDOLATRY and BEFORE the Corrupted Roman Church exalted themselves above the Bible.
He was telling the true Disciples in Rome to stop arguing about it before it happened!
He was saying don’t judge anyone before the time, just like he said in other Scriptures.
1 Corinthians 4:5
Therefore JUDGE NOTHING BEFORE THE TIME, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.
He was saying that as time passes, God will prove who is right, just like he said in other Scriptures (1 Corinthians 11:19)
This DOESN’T mean there is no right or wrong. That’s a pagan philosophy.
This DOESN’T mean that everyone is right no matter what they choose.
It DOESN’T mean that we are not supposed to keep the Commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
It means that as you pray for people and warn them, and lead by example, you also have to let people learn for themselves as they experience the results of their actions… INSTEAD OF ARGUING!
LET GOD JUDGE THEM.
BUT now that the man of sin HAS been revealed from the Roman church, is it wise to obey his authority, or God’s?
NOW that the true church has been persecuted to death by the Roman church for hundreds of years, is it wise to obey them, or God?
NOW that the church has already been corrupted, and we can clearly see how apostasy from disobedience to God’s Commandments has destroyed generations of families, is it wise to obey the Beast system or God?
I’LL LET YOU MAKE THE CHOICE!
Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
