Beauty Week Day 5: The Beauty of Holiness

Beauty Week Day 4: The Beauty of Motherhood

God Dwells With the Humble

The path of God follows after continual humility. God dwells with the humble. A lot of people have a really difficult time obeying God because they are so deathly afraid of being humbled, or being lowered in their own eyes.

God is Attracted to the Humble

*[[Isa 57:15]] KJV* For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

The Beauty of Humility
Psalms 149:4

For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.

God Resists the Proud, but Gives Power and Favor to the Humble

1 Peter 5:5

Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one toanother, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

Godly Leaders Reflect Reflect Gods Affection for the Humble

2 Corinthians 7:15

And his inward affection is more abundant toward you, whilst he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him.

Ungodly Immature Believers choose the Proud and Rich over the Poor and Humble

James 2

1 My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.

2 For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment;

3 And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool:

4 Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?

5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?

6 But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?

7 Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called?

Beauty Week Day 3: The Beauty of Being a Wife

Gravity: How Leaders Fall

Gravity – How Leaders Fall:

When you allow your talent to surpass your character, the value of integrity becomes harder and harder to understand. At the same time, the benefits of hypocrisy become easier and easier to justify.

After a period of time, you become the opposite of what you said, working iniquity successfully and totally unaware of the wrath of God on your actions.

7 Reasons Why Iniquity Moves the Crowd and Truth Always Loses the Crowd

This is why artistic talent, oratory excellence, and big money stages will always outperform Truth in influencing masses and crowds:

1. God gives a strong delusion to those who don’t have a love for the truth. In other words, sending delusions and deceptions thru extremely talented and gifted people is Gods way of weeding out those that do not really love him for his truth.

2 Thessalonians 2
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

2. Whenever Satan sees people that are willing to disobey God in favor of using their beauty talent and wisdom to promote themselves – he sees himself! He anoints them with deception. Satan anoints iniquity with merchandising and trafficking ability.

Ezekiel 28
15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created,
till iniquity was found in thee.
16 By the multitude of thy merchandise
they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned:
therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God:
and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub,
from the midst of the stones of fire.
17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty,
thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness:
I will cast thee to the ground,
I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities,
by the iniquity of thy traffick;
therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee,

3. People would love to be entertained with a nice singing or speaking voice instead of having to think or change their lives to obey Truth.

Ezekiel 33
30 Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the Lord. 31 And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness. 32 And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not . 33 And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them.

4. America is culturally a type of revived Greco Roman empire where religious worship is based on oratory performance. Therefore great orators are worshipped, and seen as having the voice of God, not men.

Acts 12
21 And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them. 22 And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man. 23 And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.

24 But the word of God grew and multiplied.

5. Clever rhetorical skills and oratory talent are very useful for supplanting and subverting the power of the Holy Spirit. This is why Apostle Paul was always contrasting his preaching with Greco-Roman style religion.

1 Corinthians 2
2 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. 2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. 3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. 4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: 5 that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

6. When the crowd becomes large, the biggest temptation is to become a hypocrite aka “play actor,” and to put on a mask, perform and play a role. That’s why when the crowd became large Jesus’s first warning was to avoid the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

Luke 12

1 In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. 2 For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. 3 Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.

7. It’s Easy to find the broad way, many will find it. Few will find the narrow way.

Matthew 7
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

The Disciple of Christ’s Solution: Follow Jesus and Love the Truth, Make Disciples, not Fans. Seek Fruit, not Praise. Train the Few, Don’t Chase the Masses

3 John 1

4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

BUT I thought we have to reach the masses? Didn’t Jesus tell us to go out to the highways and byways and tell everyone good and bad to come in? (Matthew 22).

Yes, outreach is good. But please read all the way to the end of that parable in Matthew 22. The person that got in without a wedding garment on was cast out into outer darkness… Then Jesus said that many are called, but few are chosen.

The bible says that wisdom cries out in the streets (Proverbs 8). So yes, we must broadcast wisdom to the masses, but what’s more important is discipling the few and placing righteous garments on them.

And when you do reach out to the masses, cry out with wisdom and the Word of God only. Thats actually how you find out who is really ready to be discipled.

Watering down and corrupting, or rebranding and merchandising the message – to reach a wider audience –will work; but it’s the work of iniquity and it is not an option. If you sneak people in without their wedding garments on… they will be destroyed.

Beauty Week Day 2: Beauty of Singleness

GRACE – What it Does.

I love this scripture about the GRACE of God. Is our grace doing this for us, or is it just a religious catch-all phrase we use to sound deep? Check out what the Grace of GOD actually does:

Titus 2
11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

;

;
1. Grace brings salvation to ALL humans – however all humans don’t receive it

2. Grace teaches and trains those that receive it. Evidence that you have received grace is that you are being taught by it.

3. Grace teaches us to deny UNgodly and worldly lusts

4. Grace teaches us to live soberly, righteously, and godly, contrasting with the present world.

5. Instead, grace has our eyes on Jesus Christ

6. As we gaze on Christ we are transformed, and He redeems us from all iniquity (hidden causes of sin). Sin is like the sneeze, iniquity is like the virus that causes the sneezing and coughing.

7. Jesus purifies, washes, and sets APART unto Himself a strange, spiritually zealous people, people passionate about doing good things that reflect God.

8. Speak, Exhort, and Rebuke people about this with ALL AUTHORITY. Let NO MAN look down on you for telling people what the Grace of God actually does.

Beauty Week Day 1: Physical Beauty

Obedient vs Hypocrite

The true Word of the Lord is a Cross and a Crown to the obedient, a Stage and a Check to the hypocrite.

The Rhema word from God should be about action not just talented expression.
