John 5
41 I do not receive glory from people.
42 But I know that you do not have the love of God within you.
43 I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not receive me. If another comes in his own name, you will receive him.
44 How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?
The love of God and the glory of man CANNOT COEXIST! Faith in God and the Glory of men CANNOT COEXIST!

What if your surgeon had the anesthesiologist sedate you and make you numb, but then never use the sharp scalpel to cut the cancer out?
You’d be happy and sleepy but still sick.
Welcome to the American Church: great music, prophetic encouragement, minimal sharp swords, superficial change.

If Jesus gives us the Holy Ghost to empower us to be witnesses i.e. “martus” i.e, “living martyrs…” (Acts 1:8).
Then how are we “witnessing” without the Holy Spirit?
What are we really doing without Holiness, and without the power of the Spirit?
Are we hypocrites (actors), making converts that are twice as much the sons of hell as we are (Matthew 23)?
Are we creating easy believers with no root, destined to fall away when trouble comes (Mark 4)?
Are we thieves and robbers, refusing to enter in through the Door of the Word (Revelation from Jesus), but trying to reach God’s people “some other way” (John 10)?
Are we ministers of Jezebel, using spiritual adultery and idolatry to create children that are destined to be killed with spiritual death by Jesus Himself (Revelations 2)?
