God is not jealous of rebellious humans. He is not threatened by our rebellion. God actually LAUGHS when powerful people get together and rebel against His Laws and His Ways. God isn’t depressed about people who think His commandments are optional! God is not threatened by our ignorance. He’s God. We’re not.
Psalms 2
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall LAUGH: the Lord shall have them in derision.
