Today is Truth or Lie Thursday! Inbox me your questions, doubts, issues, or beefs with the Bible or Christianity or Jesus Christ, and I won’t blast you but I’ll do some research and inbox you back with an answer that is (hopefully) good for you!

IS GOD’S PERMISSIVE WILL KIND OF LIKE PURGATORY?

I want to ask where does the bible speak of God’s permissive will? I cannot recall finding any evidence of in the bible. This is something that I feel may have been invented by a denomination to pacify it’s members like the Catholics did with purgatory. For an example one of my loved ones sought counseling whenever they did or were about to do something that they felt guilty about (such as going into their third marriage) and were advised to seek God’s permissive will if they can’t keep up with his perfect will.

I know in Romans 12 Paul speaks of God’s good, acceptable, and perfect will. A lot of people will use that to say that God has 3 different levels of satisfaction with His purposes for our lives. But you are absolutely right, that’s not what the Bible teaches. Good, Acceptable, and Perfect are all adjectives that describe 1 thing: the Will of God. It’s Good because it requires good actions. It’s Acceptable because He is the one that Judges our actions to see if He accepts them. It’s Perfect because it perfects us into Maturity and Obedience. His Good Acceptable Perfect Will transforms us by His Grace to be like Jesus! So instead of doing what we want and calling it His “permissive will”, we should do His “Good Acceptable and Perfect Will” because this is what will help us be transformed into His image! And you are absolutely right this “permissive will” doctrine is pretty much exactly like the Roman Catholic teaching except the form and the terms have shifted. It still has the same effect: to water down the grace of God and turn it into a weak version of licentiousness (license to sin). In reality God will judge everyone for their works. God’s Mercy covers our sins. But His Grace empowers us to do His will. If we have His Grace, we do His will. His Good Acceptable Perfect Will.

 

WHAT IS THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION?

 

What is the abomination that causes desolation that is mentioned in Daniel and Revelations? Is it a sculpture? Is it a person?

So when Jesus answered the disciples question “When will the temple be destroyed? What are the signs of your coming, and the end of the world? (Matthew 21:3) Jesus had to answer them in multiple layers of prophecy.

To answer the first question, He had to talk about when the Romans came to destroy the Temple and scatter and kill the Jews in 70AD. Jesus had some very serious warning to believers to get out of the city as fast as they could when the Roman army came… because it was time for the curses of Deuteronomy 28 to be fulfilled on the people that violated God’s covenant (Luke 21:22).

This prophecy of an abomination that causes desolation was in reference to Daniel. It’s in Daniel 9, Daniel 11, and Daniel 12. The abomination of desolation that was mentioned in Daniel 11 was fulfilled by a Greek ruler named Antiochus Ephiphanes. He came as an idol worshipping Greek ruler (abomination) and he brought destruction to God’s people (desolation). The prophecy that Jesus spoke of was when the Roman ruler, Titus Caesar came to the temple to destroy it in 70 AD. He was an idol worshipping Roman ruler (abomination) that came to God’s people to bring destruction (desolation).

So this prophecy has been fulfilled twice already by a Greek ruler and a Roman ruler. If this prophecy was to be fulfilled again… it would have to be fulfilled by the AntiChrist or the Pope setting himself up in a temple in Jerusalem. However since there is no official temple building anymore (the Body of Christ is God’s temple), and the physical Jews have already been scattered and made desolate – I don’t think there will be another fulfillment of this prophecy. I think that’s why you only see it mentioned in Daniel and in Matthew, but not in the book of Revelation.

However there is a future occurrence of something similar happening in the last days. It’s when the Anti-Christ is revealed and tries to be seen as God on the earth. This could mean setting up a fake temple in Jerusalem, or it could mean he tries to set himself as authority or leader over the Body of Christ (which is the temple of God). As said this will be fulfilled by the Anti-Christ, which I believe is the Pope. The reason I believe that is because the Pope is the primary religious figure on earth that places themselves over the people of God as an authority and “Vicar” or “Substitute” of Christ.

Diseases Come from the Curse: Choose Natural Healing and Health

When God brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt, He said he would put none of the diseases of the Egyptians on the people of Israel.

Scientists that study Egyptian mummies show that Egyptians died of heart diseases, epilepsy, autoimmune diseases, and many other “diseases of prosperity” that come from eating pork and rich unhealthy foods.

So when we suffer diseases and brain problems, and autoimmune diseases that come from eating pork and highly processed rich foods today instead of eating healthy fruits vegetables, beans, nuts…. we are walking in the curse. It’s evidence of the curse.

Let’s choose to walk in the blessing and make sure the majority of our diet is healthy food instead of processed foods and unclean foods that contain parasites.

The gospel comes with supernatural healing… but we must follow up with natural God-given healing through walking in the blessing instead of the curse.

13 PROBLEMS WITH PORK

1) A pig is a real garbage gut. It will eat anything including urine, excrement, dirt, decaying animal flesh, maggots, or decaying vegetables. They will even eat the cancerous growths off other pigs or animals.

2) The meat and fat of a pig absorbs toxins like a sponge. Their meat can be 30 times more toxic than beef or venison.

3) When eating beef or venison, it takes 8 to 9 hours to digest the meat so what little toxins are in the meat are slowly put into our system and can be filtered by the liver. But when pork is eaten, it takes only 4 hours to digest the meat. We thus get a much higher level of toxins within a shorter time.

4) Unlike other mammals, a pig does not sweat or perspire. Perspiration is a means by which toxins are removed from the body. Since a pig does not sweat, the toxins remain within its body and in the meat.

5) Pigs and swine are so poisonous that you can hardly kill them with strychnine or other poisons.

6) Farmers will often pen up pigs within a rattlesnake nest because the pigs will eat the snakes, and if bitten they will not be harmed by the venom.

7) When a pig is butchered, worms and insects take to its flesh sooner and faster than to other animal’s flesh. In a few days the swine flesh is full of worms.

Swine and pigs have over a dozen parasites within them, such as tapeworms, flukes, worms, and trichinae. There is no safe temperature at which pork can be cooked to ensure that all these parasites, their cysts, and eggs will be killed.

9) Pig meat has twice as much fat as beef. A 3 oz T bone steak contains 8.5 grams of fat; a 3 oz pork chop contains 18 grams of fat. A 3 oz beef rib has 11.1 grams of fat; a 3 oz pork spare rib has 23.2 grams of fat.

10) Cows have a complex digestive system, having four stomachs. It thus takes over 24 hours to digest their vegetarian diet causing its food to be purified of toxins. In contrast, the swine’s one stomach takes only about 4 hours to digest its foul diet, turning its toxic food into flesh.

11) The swine carries about 30 diseases which can be easily passed to humans. This is why God commanded that we are not even to touch their carcase (Leviticus 11:8).

12) The trichinae worm of the swine is microscopically small, and once ingested can lodge itself in our intestines, muscles, spinal cord or the brain. This results in the disease trichinosis. The symptoms are sometimes lacking, but when present they are mistaken for other diseases, such as typhoid, arthritis, rheumatism, gastritis, MS, meningitis, gall bladder trouble, or acute alcoholism.

13) The pig is so poisonous and filthy, that nature had to prepare him a sewer line or canal running down each leg with an outlet in the bottom of the foot. Out of this hole oozes pus and filth his body cannot pass into its system fast enough. Some of this pus gets into the meat.

Coming out of the Curse: Independent and Pure Worship

It is a cursed people that cannot even worship God unless satan gets part of the glory. Holiness is not a curse. Holiness is a strong blessing.What’s cursed is when you cannot independently worship God in purity, and you always need to add something ungodly to your ministry to feel like it’s validated.When you need people that follow Satan to validate and approve your ministry, that’s evidence of the curse. That’s a people that will never be on top, they will always be the tail and not the head, and they will never fulfill their potential.This is why our Lord commands us to worship him in the beauty of holiness.This is one of the main things we must do to remain free from the effects of the curse after being set free by the blood of Jesus. If we continue to allow satan to entangle us in his kingdom, our lives begin to fall back into the curse.Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the LORD? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the LORD.

MY FRIENDS THINK I’M CRAZY!

Q: How does one deal with a former friend…who understands that you are now fully persuaded of the love that Christ gives and the benefits of trusting on His Word and Actions…and sees you as practicing cognitive dissonance..or choosing an alternative to reality?

A: Ok so I assume you mean a friend that thinks you are brainwashed, or not honest about the truth, because you now understand and follow the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That’s a tough situation because often former friends can’t understand the change that goes on in our hearts even if we try to explain it to them.

There are many ways to preach the gospel, but in addition to prayer, I would just continue to testify about the good things God does in you. Philemon talks about that – it says the communication of your faith is made effective when you share the good things God does in you.

Philemon 1

6 That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

 

WHY DO FOREIGNERS OWN ALL THE GAS STATIONS?

Q: I have a question…why are all or most of our gas stations operated by middle easterners…in the Chicago area anyway.

A: Its like that in the cities all over the US. The answer is part natural and part spiritual. First the natural, then the spiritual.

On the natural side, its just family, humility, and investment.

When you are a foreigner coming into a land that you believe is powerful and has great opportunities you will humble yourself and do the best work you can do, start the easiest business you can start. Your family will help you, then you end up rising and the family business just grows. You develop a niche and you network with people who came from the same place you did. Next thing you know your people own that niche. A little tax, loan, and investment help from the US government or your own government and in a couple generations you are on top.

More on the natural side: with strong family networks comes strong financial support. When you stick together to the point where 3 or 4 families live together in the same house, all pooling their money together, you have no choice but to make it eventually. People living in the curses tend to stay divided and prideful. We want to live above our means, and we want fancy things and flashy businesses versus pooling our money, or starting and persevering in humble service businesses.

Also, more on humility. When you don’t mind starting a simple service based business, and you don’t mind doing simple work that other people don’t want to do, or owning simple businesses that other people don’t want to start, its easy to make money over time.

Proverbs 22:4 By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, honor, and life.

Spiritual Side: Deuteronomy 28. The bible promised that when Israel rejected God’s Word, they would be scattered, cursed, and that foreigners would come in among them and quickly rise up over them everywhere they went.

Deuteronomy 28

37 And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all nations whither the Lord shall lead thee.

 43 The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low.

44 He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail.

The only way to overcome that curse is through Jesus Christ and depending on Him for our righteousness, and walking in His ways. By walking in obedience to God and putting our families first, we can begin to get more access to His blessing and begin to gain economic independence in our own neighborhoods.

Ultimately Jesus salvation will fully manifest at His return. But we can have a small piece of peace now through our obedience to the Gospel and obedience to God’s commands.

Race Mixing????????

How can you call mixing ethnicities impure when Adam & Eve had the traits of all ethnicities within their genetics? Racism is stupid. If anything, ethnic mixing is taking us closer to how we were in the beginning. God split us up because of our sin. Jesus Christ unites us again. One Blood, one blood. End of story.

What if We were as Passionate about Fasting as we are about Voting?

What if American Christians were as passionate about fasting as they are about voting?

What if we trusted in God as our provider and protector more than we trust in the corrupt “democratic” political process?

Let’s declare a day of Fasting from voting and Fasting from food on November 8th!

American Pseudo Christianity:::

Fasting – “ONLY if you’re led, it’s not that important, don’t be too super spiritual or deep, be careful.”

Voting – “OMG you HAVE to vote! Jesus and Soldiers died for our country to vote, who cares about corruption, lesser evil might save our great nation! Our future is hanging by a thread! EVERYTHING hinges on the next Supreme Court justices!”

We have the option to vote and the option not to vote. Voting is not “obeying the laws of the land.” You can obey the laws of the land and decide not to vote. That’s the law of the land.

SAINTS: It’s obvious that we are boxed in to a choice of judgement, but do we really have to force our participation? For every temptation God provides a way of escape. What if like David and Esther, we threw ourselves upon the mercy of the Lord?

True Worship::: I Can’t Pay Homage to the Ungodly

I understand good music, I understand talent, I understand excellence, skill, and craft, I understand creativity…

But I just can’t pay homage to the ungodly or have pleasure in wickedness. (Romans 1:32)

I just can’t do it! Whatever that makes me, (wack, super spiritual, nerdy, lame) I will gladly be that. Jesus is my Lord and Heaven is my home. Originality and separation (sanctification) is EXTREMELY important in TRUE worship.

I just can’t pay homage or give support to those that destroy souls! I just can’t do it! #allthingsnew #anewsong
